Chasing After You - Woosan

Chapter 38

Wooyoung pov.

We stood in front of another big door and one of the guards were pressing the code to open it. At the moment we had no plan at all what to do, so I was hoping everything would just work out.

When the door opened and we stepped inside it felt like someone punched all the air inside my lungs out. It was a big room with guards stationed at the concrete walls all around the room. A man was sitting on what looked to be a throne, he's proabably Z. In the middle of the room was San, chained  to two pillars with blood and bruises all over. Closer to Z seonghwa stood next to some guards with handcuffs on.

Me and Hongjoong followed the other guards to one of the wall and stood in the empty spaces. "What was the alarm about?" Z stares at us and the other guards. They step forward and we do the same. I want to keeping looking at San but I have to focus. 

"We have intruders" one of the guards state, "How many?" Z hiss back, then Hongjoong speaks "Probably two, four guards was taken down and two of them are missing clothes and masks" Z's quiet, "They are probably disguised as guards at the moment I speak up and I can feel a certain someones stare burn holes into my back, San. 

"Back into position" Z orders and we go to stand at the wall. "Hmm" Z looks around the room, "I'm assuming it's two of your little friends" Z stares at San. San grits his teeth "So what?" he hiss "You'd get nothing from messing with them" how could Yunho think San has been trying to kill me this whole time?

"I could make you confess with their help" Z laugh, "You don't even know where they are" San spits. "Oh I do, you're gaze reveals atleast one of them" Z smirk and I freeze, Shit. 

San eyes go wide but he says nothing. "You there, step forward" he points at Hongjoong, what? 

For a second Hongjoong freezes then he steps forward, Z must have mistaken Hongjoong for me. As he steps forward to the middle I can see Seonghwa's eyes on him.

"What should I do with you huh?" Z smirks and the horrified look in San's eyes tell me he has no clue it's Hongjoong standing there and not me. "Take of the mask" Z orders, but Hongjoong stands completely still not doing it.

Z huffs and motions for some guards to come forward and force it off him. I step forward with three other guards and walk towards Hongjoong. Me and one of the other guards  grab one of his arms each. 

I quickly look over at Seonghwa and try to make eye contact and to my luck he looks me right in the face and I hold the stare to make him understand that it's me, which he does by giving me a faint smile.

To my surprise Hongjoong is standing completely still even when the two other guards moved to remove the mask. They slowly dragged it off revealing Hongjoong's face bit by bit.

When the mask was fully off I could see the rage on Z's face as Hongjoong smirked up at him. I  quickly glanced over at San and looked very exhausted but also relieved that it wasn't me under the mask. 

"Where." Z hissed and looked around the room just like San was doing, trying to spot me. Hongjoong looked over at Seonghwa and it looked like they were somehow communicating, even though they didn't say a word.

"Everyone! off with the masks!" Z gritted his teeth and stood up from the throne. I panicked for a second because if i took off my mask it would be over for me. I glanced at Hoongjoong but he didn't seem worried and when i looked over at Seonghwa he just nodded. 

At this point everyone had already taken off their masks, "You!" Z pointed at me and I had everybody's eyes on me. I slowly started dragging my mask off praying that Hongjoong and Seonghwa had planned something. 

When I threw the mask to the floor Z's grin grew bigger and as I glanced over at San's face Z cackled "YOU IDIOTS THOUGHT YOU CAN BEAT ME?!" San looked worried but I once again looked at Hongjoong and he seemed to be ready to beat Z's ass. 

"Run to San when I count to three" Hongjoong mumble to me well aware of the guards around us hearing but they said nothing. "OH THE THINGS I'M GOING TO DO TO YOUR LITTLE FRIEND GROUP" Z is smirk is so big I'm kinda hoping he trips or something just to smudge it from his face.

I'm patiently waiting for Hongjoong's signal while Z rambles on. Suddenly Hongjoong's foots nudges me 1.... 2.... 3.... times and I start running over to San, chaos breaks loose as I start running. 

Hongjoong launches for Z beating down guards as he tries to get to Z. Seonghwa has some how got his hands free while Z was talking and is rushing towards Hongjoong taking down more guards. In the middle of the Chaos I also spot Jongho who had already thrown a dozen guards to the floor, where he came from I have no idea.

I quickly get to San where I'm met by Yeosang, "How the fuck are we supposed to get the chains off!?" I shout to Yeosang but he only whips out a big ass bolt cutter and I don't question where he got them. I let Yeosang do the cutting since he only has one bolt cutter. 

I kneel down where San is sitting on the ground, he slowly lifts his head up to me and looks at me "Wooyoung.." He quietly says and he seems very tired. "I'm here" I say softly and place both of my hands on the sides of his face, studying the bruises and cuts.

One of the chains falls to the ground with a 'clank' sound and his arm is free. I quickly look away from San's face and look at everything else that is happening and it seems like Seonghwa, Hongjoong and Jongho have everything under control.

Yeosang frees San's other arms and he immediately wraps them around me hugging me. I here him wince in pain when I hug him back but he doesn't pull back, I hold back my tears as San just loosely hugs my body exhausted from just everything that has happened and. 

"Sorry to be that person but you guys shouldn't maybe be hugging right now-" Yeosang says loudly as he's beating off a guard. I look over at him and he has a point, I need to get San somewhere safe before he gets more hurt.

I feel San lifting his head a little "Wooyoung.." he breathes out and before I can answer San is throwing us to the floor and flipping us around and for a second I see the guard throwing himself at us with something in his hand but then everything goes black.
