"Come on girl, you've been here for like 5 hours, go have some fun." I hear Gus, my boss, say to me in the control room.

"No, it's okay, I'm fine." I say, staring at the same monitor I have been staring at since I was done with the initiates.

"Okay, but you know your not supposed to be working this week." He says to me with concern in his voice.

"Ya I know. I just like to work in here." I say, looking up at him. He walks over to another monitor shaking his head.

I have been opening and closing different files on Max's account.

Since I saw Max and Jennine talking in his office, I have been searching for any footage of Max I can get.

It so happened the other day I thought of a plan: i was thinking that Max's computer must be full of important information. So I asked Lauren if she could give me a flash drive for copying one persons computer hard drive, and being able to use it on another persons account. She was skeptical at first, but then I told her it was for a prank on Zeke. She automatically said yes. Dauntless love pranks.

Only yesterday did I act on this plan. Max was out of his office, so I snuck up, got the hard drive, and got back to the control room in a matter of minutes. I was proud of myself until I realize that I left the camera on the shot of Max's office. Gus is looking at my monitor.

"Six, why is your camera out of rotation?" Different shots of the compound pop up on the monitor ever couple seconds so you can keep a watch on everything. You are only aloud to keep something out of rotation for a few seconds before you have to put it back and move on to the next frame.

At least he didn't see me, he is only mad about that.

"Oh, I thought I saw something and I went to check it out. I guess I forgot to put it back." I say shrugging, hoping he just forgets about it.

"Ok, but what are you supposed to do if something like this happens?" He asks me.

"Go to my supervisor," I mumble.

"And who would that be?" He says to me.

"You," I mumble again, not looking at him.

"Ok, I'm glad you know. Try to remember since this is your second warning." This happened once before, but I didn't think that was such a big deal then.

"Okay, I understand." I say, trying to close the subject. He just walks away. I guess it worked.

I have been looking at his account for about another hour when I finally see something. There is a map of the city with different markings and letters. There is no key, but I soon realize that this is a attack plan. An attack plan on Abnegation.

I stare at the screen for probably 3 minutes without blinking. This is the reason they were talking about serums, we, the Dauntless, are going to be attacking Abnegation in a sim- and I don't know what to do about it. Is all I can think, frustrated.

Zeke comes in a few minutes latter, which happens to be when his shift was supposed to end. He didn't even show up.

"What's wrong with you?" I hear Zeke say from behind me as I log off and shut down my computer.

I turn to him. "I need your help,"

His eyes soften and he sits down beside me. "What, are you okay? Did someone hurt you? Do you need someone to-" I cut him off laughing.

"No, nothing like that." I say standing up. I pull Zeke up with me. "I need a drink."

"Well that is something else can help you with," he says smiling at me.

I clutch my side, laughing so hard I can't breath. I don't even remember what made me laugh, but it was hilarious.

I take a swig from the brown bottle in my hand. It tastes awful as it goes down, but I like the feeling it gives me after, like I'm not really here.

I know, somewhere in the back of my mind, I should not be drinking. There is something that is supposed to be done, and something that is important, but I can't seem to put my finger on it.

Some girl standing beside Zeke says something hilarious. I grab the railing for support. When I finally straighten I see Four. It gives me butterflies, so I take a swig from my bottle and call out "Four!" He looks at me and exchanges a look with his friend Bill? No, that's not right. but it doesn't matter right now, all that matters is Four, and the fact that he is not wearing a shirt. He looks good.

"You look different," I say. Looking him over, fast.

"Well maybe it's because I'm not wearing a shirt." He says while I look at his abs. They are very toned.

I have probably been staring for to long, but it is hard to tear my eyes away. I finally do and look back into his eyes. They are a beautiful blue that I always get lost in.

"What are you doing?" He asks.

"Flirting with death," I say, laughing. I know it's not very funny, but I can't help it. "Drinking near the chasm. Probably not a good idea."

"No it isn't." I say back.

I walk around behind him while he looks deep in thought, my eyes immediately go to his tattoo I saw a few days ago when we played capture the flag. I then see a new tattoo. "I didn't know you got another tattoo," I state as I look at it. It is more or less the same type of tattoo as his other one: a patch of Dauntless flames. The new one is in much more detail, though. "It is very nice. They both are." I say, walking back around to his front and looking into his eyes again.

I don't know what to say, so I take a drink from my bottle. It burns going down my throat, but I don't really care.

I look over my shoulder to Zeke, Shaunna, and the others. I look back to him. "I would invite you over to hangout with us, but your not supposed to see me like this," I say, gesturing to my self.

"What?" Four asks me. "Drunk?"

I realize I must be drunk. I have only drank a few times before, but I know I am a lightweight. I can get drunk after only 2 or 3 beers, or whatever Zeke gets me to drink. "Yeah...well no." I say to him, sobering up a bit. "Real I guess."

"I'll pretend I didn't." He says to me.

I don't know what comes over to me, but I lean forward. I was going to kiss him, but I know Im not drunk enough that there won't be consequences. I change my path and put my lips next to his ear. "You look good, Four." I say.

I stand straight again and wait for a response. He looks me over, then laughs. I feel my chest clench. Did I say something funny?

Once he stops laughing he says, "do me a favour and stay away from the chasm, okay?" He said it with real concern.

I nod. "Of course." Then I wink and turn my back on him. I take a big swig from my bottle, emptying it. When I get back to my group of friends I trade my empty bottle for a full one and I make sure to stay on the far side of the group, as far away from the chasm as I can get.

I take a big gulp from my bottle, and the rest of the night is a blur.
