Till There Was You [FINISHED]

PROLOGUE

November 2001

"Ms.Kim Hye Soo,to your right!"

"This way!"

"To your left!"

I hear noises all over as I sit and smile in front of my supporters who attended the launch of my very first Christmas album.This project is close to my heart because I feel like I am living the life closest to the dream that I desired during my childhood days...to be one of Madonna's back-up dancers and background vocal artists.

I am about to sign a copy that lays flat in front of me.My supporters really love giving me gifts, from the biggest plushy teddy bears to the cutest keychain you could imagine.Some are wrapped, some aren't. I give them a look of appreciation before handing over to Amy, my personal assistant so she could keep them together and set aside for me to open later.My fingers are starting to get numbed from all the signing. I need something to fidget. I pick up one of the bare gifts that a supporter gave me a few moments ago that I haven't handed to Amy yet. It's a little rainbow stress ball that serves also as a keychain, cute.I could fidget this under the table for a few seconds as the next person in the queue goes up in front of me to ask for my signature.

I couldn't count how many copies I have signed today.This is all thanks to the people behind and beside me during the production. But I know that even if I've signed only one today, I would still be grateful that someone would listen to my music.

The event is now about to end and I bid my goodbye to my supporters.

"Thank you very much to each one of you!" I finish with a wink and smile.

My week went on as usual, a few interviews with the media, rehearsals and endorsement shoots.

I have always loved my work and I am loving it even more now. It gets tiring at times but I can't imagine choosing anything else over this.
