Kung Fu Panda 4: Conquest

Unexpected Visitors

"Coming!" Po shouts, jumping off the bed. Monkey following shortly after.
"You have three visitors, it seems, a red panda with long ears, a giant panda, and a goose." said the guard.
"Heh, that sounds familiar." Po said. "WAIT how did they get here?" Po immediately ran down the stairs and out of the castle, quite right- there were three familiar faces.
"Master Shifu! and my fathers!" Po shouted, immediately running towards them. Shifu was standing right in Po's way, when he noticed Po was about to go in for a big hug, he jumped out of the way.

Po met his dads in a big hug. Then he asked; "how did you get here?"
"Shifu led us here, we have no idea how he got here either." Mr. Ping replied.
"Heh, that's Shifu in a nutshell."
"Master Oogway led me here." Shifu said and began to smile. Po nodded in understanding. "But wait.. How?"
"I was standing by the peach tree meditating, all of a sudden all the leaves blew off the tree, and they ended up in some sort of trail, which led me here." Shifu replied. "Your fathers were quite anxious about how you were doing so they asked to come with me."
"But what about the restaurant?"
"We took the opportunity to take a week off." replied Mr. Ping.

Then the Five came out of the castle and met Shifu with a bow.
Shifu greeted them with a smile. Then his expression returned to a somber one. "The reason why I came here is because I sense that something terrible is going to happen."
"How?" Po asked.
"Oogway doesn't involve himself in anything unless necessary." Shifu replied.
"But, Master, what about the Jade Palace?" asked the Tigress.
"The Jade Palace is guarded by Master Rooster, Bear, and Crocodile temporarily." Shifu replied. "We have nothing to worry about back at home." to which Tigress nodded.

"I suppose you have found your home, Tigress. Congratulations." Shifu said giving a smile.
"Thank you, Master. I'm glad I finally made it here. And I kind of know how my past went too, when my, uh, biological father told me." Tigress said, smiling back.
"Good, then I wonder if you'll be ready for your inner peace training soon." Shifu said and slowly walked away. "Now I'm going to meet *your biological father* and see if we can manage to become good friends." Shifu said, opening the gates. Then spears flew forward blocking him from entering. Shifu stayed in place without blinking.

The guards quickly had their eyes wide open. "Sorry, Grandmaster Shifu of the Jade Palace." one guard hissed, signaling the other guards to let him in.
Shifu entered the throne hall where Kang Ye is sitting. As he stood before the throne, he cleared his throat. Shifu had apparently woken Kang from his slumber. "W-Who dare- oh, Grandmaster Shifu. That's new. What do you want?" Kang asked.
"I have come here to stay a day or two, to get to know you. So, you must be Kang Ye, Tigress's father."

"Oh, so wait, if I'm guessing right now, then you're Tigress' second father, with other words, the person who adopted my daughter a long time ago..?" to which Shifu nodded.
"How cool!" Kang shouted, standing up. It wasn't exactly the reaction Shifu expected, but it was a greatly welcomed one.
Then Kang went down to Shifu and patted him a little gently on his shoulder. Come here dear friend." Kang said. "Wait shall we call ourselves friends or..?" he asked.
"If you want to, I accept it." Shifu replied, chuckling a little.
"Great, come with me and I can show you around."

"So, um, have you guys come up with a plan yet?" Li Shan asked.
"Tigress is busy with it." Po replied, looking her way.
"I'm working on it." she said.

"Good! Oh, right, is there any place for us to put our things down?" Li asked.
"You guys came here rather unexpectedly, so we'll figure something out." answered Tigress and went up to the castle.
"Here, I can take your stuff and you can walk around and hang out." Po said, holding out his hand. Mr. Ping and Li Shan placed their backpacks in Po's hand and went off happily to meet some new strangers.
