Kung Fu Panda 4: Conquest

First Encounter

Po, his fathers, Shifu, and the Five finally reached the great walls of Nam Binh, relatively late in the evening. Po started talking to his dads that they should stay outside so that they don't risk getting into something bad, Mr. Ping wasn't too happy to hear that they were going to stay back when Tigress told her plan, but once there, Po atleast got his dads to stay.

The masters left the two fathers to themselves outside the forest. They ran silently past the closed gate, and then along the side of the wall, they had to go around several corners and edges until they reached the place they were supposed to climb, it took time for Po to get up, but with a little help from Crane he came up in no time.

"Thank you Crane." he said. "No problem-" "shhh" Tigress shushed. "The entire plaza is full of people, no one should either hear or see us."

The masters crawled carefully along the top of the wall, until they were close enough to the stairs."it's not a bad castle" Po whispered."Yeah, you're right." Monkey whispered back."Okay, it's starting to lighten up a bit by the stairs." Shifu said as quietly as he could, looking at the Five.

"How creepy, they have black eyes, completely black too, super scary." Po whispered.Tigress sighed inwardly, even in situations like this, he still talks about weird stuff. After a few minutes of waiting, it had cleared up and no one was visible on the streets. Most people probably got inside and started preparing for the night to come.

"It's free to go, now we run!" Tigress whispered.The Five and Shifu jumped down and Po slid down. They continued up to the street and on to the stairs, full speed."It's absolutely insane that no one has noticed us yet!" Po said."It's almost a little too insane." said Mantis and continued to jump.

The masters were now approaching the castle, and there were no guards outside."No plan B then, that's unexpected." Viper said."Alright, we'll open the gate carefully and sneak in. Huang must under any circumstances NOT see us."

Po followed, then he couldn't help but feel something, he looked behind him but to his surprise he saw nothing. *Eh, maybe I'm just paranoid.* he thought to himself."What are you doing, Po?" Monkey asked. "Noth- nothing special, just lost focus a bit."

They entered the hall in silence, which was illuminated by the moonlight from the ceiling. They followed the dark walls. At the sides there was a lantern, no, two. Two lanterns illuminating a throne. But no one there.

Viper slowly squirmed against the wall, and Po was right behind. Po noticed Shifu stop and raised his hand, signaling the others to stop."Be quiet, I think I hear something." he whispered, letting his large ears guide him to the source of the sound.
