Haseena’s POV

It was always incredibly entertaining when Karishma and Cheetah got together. They have such a funny way of communicating. It’s full of insults and sarcastic rebuttals.

Yet, everyone around them knew that no matter how often they “fight” they loved each other deeply.

A part of me was slightly jealous of their friendship.

Though both Cheetah and Santu have become good friends to me, I know that if anything were to happen between Karishma and I, god forbid, they’d be in her corner. Of course that is perfectly understandable to me, considering they’ve known her longer than they’ve known me, I still wish I had someone in my corner.

I know Karishma is always there for me but she’s my girlfriend.

I guess my best friend, sadly enough, is still my ex-husband and I don’t know if I’m okay with that.

“Tumhe kya lagta h Jerry?”

I snapped out of my thoughts when I heard the nickname Cheetah had bestowed upon me. I begged him that if he must give me a nickname to change it to something else, but he didn’t budge.

Apparently after Karishma shared some information with Cheetah about me making her go get me Ben & Jerry’s ice cream run in the middle of the night, during my pregnancy, he couldn’t think of me without thinking about the popular ice cream brand.

So I have now been branded for life.

“Kis bare mein?” I asked, now tuning into the conversation.

I was seated on the right side of the couch with my feet propped onto Karishma’s lap. Cheetah was seated on the other end of the couch in the same position as me with his legs on his girlfriend's lap as Santu and Karishma were trapped in between us.

“Movie ke bare mein” Cheetah clarified.

Damn, I thought. I really was not paying any attention.

“Um, Konsi movie?”

I felt a sharp pain on my thigh when Karishma’s hand collided against it.

“Aap sun bhi rhi h hum kya baatein kar rhe h?”

I didn’t see the point in lying since I was already caught, so I slowly shook my head and received a round of “bro’s” and “Amma bhak” from the other three.

“Hum movie dekhne jaane ke baare mein soch rhe h, aur humne The Nun dekhne ka socha but Karishma ko dar lag rha h” Santu explained.

“Nhi hume dar nhi lag rha h” my girlfriend quickly defended, though everyone knew she was. “Hume bas yeh samajh nhi aata ki hum kisi ko apne paise kahe de hume pareshan karne ke” she exclaimed “Na matlab life mein pehle hi kam dukh dard h kaa, ki hum bhoot pret bhi dekhe?”

Santu, Cheetah and I exchanged glances before all of our eyes landed back on the smallest girl in the room.

“Toh matlab…” Cheetah started “Tumhe dar lag rha h”

Karishma sighed “Acha thik h. Haan. Ab khush.”

Everyone in the room burst out into a fit of laughter before we all decided to watch a comedy instead.
