Year 2019

Jisoo gazed at the exquisite flowers, breathing in the fresh aroma of soil and leaves.

"May I ask what you're doing, Jisoo?" inquired Lisa suddenly, causing Jisoo to startle."Nothing," replied Jisoo. "These roses, especially the yellow ones, give me shivers," she added, opening up to Lisa.Lisa chuckled, "You've always been the romantic one, Jisoo," she said, admiring Jisoo's captivating eyes, a mix of deep chocolate brown and hazel that made her adore her older sister even more."I feel like they remind me of my soulmate," Jisoo confessed. "But how can I be certain?" questioned Lisa. "They just do," Jisoo shrugged. "Anyway," she changed the topic, "You're spending time with Jungkook today, right?" she teased, noticing the blush on Lisa's cheeks. Lisa nodded silently, her gaze fixed on the sky as they walked through the streets of Seoul, where Jisoo resided with her family.

She looked at the yellow rose clutched in her dry hands, again sending chills down her spine, but a warm feeling flooded her.

Lisa gently tapped Jisoo on the shoulder, causing Jisoo to jump in surprise. "Unnie, Jungkook is waiting for me at this café," she said, apologizing with a smile. "Go ahead, Lisa," Jisoo forced a smile and continued on her way back home. Her parents had already left for work, leaving her alone in the house. She took out her phone and settled onto her soft duvet. As she scrolled through her classmate list, her thumb paused at a name written at the top - Taehyung. She couldn't explain why, but the name felt incredibly familiar as if she had rediscovered something she had lost a long time ago. Frustrated, she tossed her phone aside. Everyone called her a dreamer, and now she believed them, considering her recent strange and nonsensical feelings. With a sigh, she lay down, closing her eyes tightly as she drifted off into the realm of sleep.

In the middle of the night, Jisoo was abruptly awakened by an urgent call from her mother, instructing her to go downstairs immediately. Hastily, Jisoo got out of bed and grabbed her favorite pink floral pattern cardigan.

"You're awake now," Lisa exclaimed in a surprised tone as Jisoo entered the living room."How was your day with Jungkook, brother?" Jisoo asked, taking a seat on a nearby sofa. Lisa joined her.

" Oh my god Unnie, he's been insisting on taking me to the new Kimchi place so many times," Lisa said. "When we left the dorm, Seokjin Hyung stopped him and mentioned that something was wrong," she paused, glancing at Jisoo. "He insisted on talking to him alone," she concluded.

Jisoo nodded, urging her younger sister Lalisa to continue. "You know, Jungkook has an older brother named Taehyung," Lisa revealed. Jisoo's mind was suddenly filled with a blank, and she tightly shut her eyes.

There's a yellow rose.A brown buffalo, a horse?A crown..."Sooji dear," someone says.Black.Everything turns black.Blood...She opened her eyes, gasping for breath, blood dripping from her right nostril, and a wave of nausea washing over her."Lisa?" she asked, struggling to catch her breath. "Unnie, what happened?" Lisa screamed, embracing her sister as if her life depended on it. "Did you have a nightmare?" Lisa asked, attempting to calm Jisoo down."It was... it was... a dream," Jisoo muttered. "Something happened... someone... I don't know... It felt like a memory." Jisoo gasped again as the memories flooded back. "There were yellow flowers... the petals... and there were these red roses..." she trailed off. "Someone... he was... he kissed me..." she whispered. "A ghost?" she wondered. No one can see ghosts unless they want to."What?! That must mean that person is here!" Lisa exclaimed, jumping in fear."No, no. Calm down, Lisa," Jisoo reassured her, gently stroking her sister's arm. "It doesn't mean anything."

"Why did Mom call us here in the first place?" Jisoo asked, trying to steady her racing heartbeat."Dad's in the hospital," Lisa breathed. "Why?" Jisoo frowned, panic filling her."He fainted at the office and sustained minor injuries," Lisa explained calmly. "It's nothing to worry about, Jisoo."

" I see, " says Jisoo, finding it hard not to overreact a little bit.

" We should take you to a doctor," Lisa concludes.

" Maybe a psychiatrist would be better," Jisoo scoffs, laying back into the sofa and letting sleep elude her.
