Father is in a difficult situation, as the enemy is approaching with a contract that we cannot refuse without consequences. Isla, Nieje, and Annerose are anxious, while the ministers in the palace are engaged in a lengthy council meeting. The prevailing atmosphere is one of fear and apprehension since the message from the Feyrian kingdom arrived. As Father is still en route from the battlefield, I, as his eldest child, will have to represent him in the upcoming meeting with the Feyrians. The thought of it fills me with dread. "Princess Sooji?" Minister Raunch's voice interrupts my thoughts, "Yes, please come in," I respond, my worry palpable. "The Feyrians have arrived," he informs me, opening the door slightly and gesturing for me to follow. "We must tread carefully with them." I simply nod, quickly checking my appearance in the mirror before heading out. Isla, Nieje, and Annerose offer me weak smiles as I pass by, but my mind is preoccupied with the impending meeting.

As I stepped out of the gates, the drummer's voice boomed, "All hail Princess Sooji! Princess of Arundel!" The sight of our enemies sent a shiver down my spine. These men were massive, their bodies a testament to years of toil and battles. They exuded power, but also a sense of brutality. The king, barely older than me, stood tall among them, a formidable figure. "I am Fayzan, delighted to meet you," he said, bowing. I motioned for the guards to escort them inside. As we sat across each other in the meeting hall, Fayzan unrolled a scroll of terms. But before he could hand it over, a loud noise interrupted us.The sound of chaos outside made me rush out to see what was happening.

There was a whole army attacking us! Well, not us, but the Feyrians, who had arranged this? Definitely not Father, not any ally, not anyone!

"A secret ambush! Is this how you greet your victor?" Fayzan exclaimed, his eyes gleaming with malice. He reached out towards me, but before he could make contact, a sudden blur flew past and sent him flying.

All heads turned towards the top of the towering castle as a familiar, commanding voice echoed through the air, "Withdraw, Feyrians, unless you wish to lose your heads. I will not hesitate to make it so."

Tears welled up in my eyes. What was he doing here? Fayzan scoffed, "Why should we retreat? We are the mighty Feyrians! Who are you to command us to leave, you scoundrel?"

A hush fell over the crowd as they awaited his response, but I already knew who he was. "I am King Hyuntae of Korea."
