In my whole life as the Princess of Arundel, never have I once thought that I would end up acting to be asleep, that too in front of a King. Trying to steady my breathing as though sound asleep. I open my eyes just a tiny bit to find Hyuntae lying bedding on the floor.

" Why are you doing that?" I ask abruptly, abandoning all thoughts of dignity.

"To avoid disturbing your sleep, Princess" He speaks with a smile that only makes his words more teasing "Wouldn't want you to wake up now, would we?" he grins

I knew there was more to that, but we both understood silently. " So you're sleeping on the floor then?"

"Exactly. So be a little considerate and sleep soundly" He flashes a grin at me. I couldn't understand how he can have different personalities at different times.

" Just say the words, and I can sleep on the floor instead you know. It isn't befitting for the King to sleep on the floor" I say, mustering all the courage I could.

" And it isn't befitting for his wife either, " he says " And as if I'd ever let you do that"

" Whatever floats your boat, " I say, clearly taking a dig at him. Surveying his expression for one last time, I tumble back into the soft bed sheets and let the world of dreams fall upon me, still aware of Hyuntae's heavy presence

The first thing I heard when I woke up was Ruby screaming about our so-soon departure.

" How can they give the royal Princess and Queen only fifteen minutes to dress? I object!" she says, dragging me out of the warm bath and tackling my bed hair into a quick braid. She quickly tore out a blue satin robe from my many trunks and forced me into it. Soon, I found myself out of the hotel room.

" Well, you did get me ready in ten minutes," I say laughingly, " No one can doubt your expertise and speed, Ruby," I tell her as she leads me to the breakfast table. Ladling many food items on my plate and handing them over to me. I gratefully dig into the Korean delicacies, savoring every bite.

" I wonder if the food is to your liking? " Choi Jumi comes out of nowhere, her red waves in a bun. " I was in charge of the food you see, and the King ordered us to make something new for the Queen" She smiles at me warmly, before sitting next to Ruby.

The warm hotteok in my hands flop down on my plate again. " The King? Bothered for my dining?" I ask surprised. " Well of course Princess, he's your husband after all, " she grins at me, trying to catch my subtle blush.

" That higher knight Jung Yoongyu seems to be very interested in you too, why aren't you married yet? " says Ruby teasingly, I smile as I watch Jumi blush and try to change the topic.

Just as we were enjoying the moment, Hyuntae's husky voice filled the breakfast room

" We will be heading to the port now, from where we will resume our journey through sea. Our head maid Miss Choi shall help you get to your carriages towards the port. And from there, your rooms on the ship. I think I have made myself clear? "he says, a chorus of ' Yes' going around the room.

His voice takes a lighter tone when he speaks again " Also, thanks to our kitchen team for the most wonderful Korean breakfast spread, It's a great reminder of home" he grins and I notice the warm relationship between him and his subjects. For such a great and feared kingdom, their relationship isn't bad at all.

" I think I should have you both inside your carriages now," says Jumi, " Yours will surely be the gold-rimmed carriage, Princess, choose any of the two we have," she says and tries to move around the hustle and bustle going around. Finally giving up and stopping next to Sir Jung while looping her arm through his.

Ruby and I make ourselves comfortable inside the carriage, reveling in the cushiony seats, wondering if we'll have the same luxury while on sea. Minutes slip into hours and I'm woken up by Jumi this time, who looks extremely tired.

I step out and almost choke when I see the vast sea and the humongous ship floating on it. " Queen Yeowang the ship is called, " Jumi says, looking at my expression. She takes my hand in hers and walks beside me, leading me through the small bridge over the sea connected to the door.

" Will I be sharing the room with Hyuntae again? " I ask, trying not to betray any signs of emotion. " Of course," says Jumi, her hand still on mine until we reach my cabin door. " I'll drop off Ruby to her shared cabin with me then," she says and drags Ruby with her.

I gingerly open the cabin door, and find it as luxurious as the one in the inn, trying to gauge the fact that this is inside a ship.

" Suprised? " Hyuntae's voice makes me jump like a cat. Nevertheless, I reply with a calm " Yes ", he chuckles almost amusedly, " Creation of Korea as you must know "

I nod, " You're still sleeping on the floor then? " I ask him, looking at him in the eye.

" Why of course, Princess " he grins and points at the already ready bedding on the floor. I just shake my head in defeat, not bothering to change from my comfortable satin robes. I lay on the bed, having every intent to sleep.

" You're going to miss dinner then?  " he asks, " Yes, I don't feel hungry, " I say, entirely true. " I'm not going to allow that," he says, " Excuse me? " I say, feeling exasperated. " The Queen of Korea? Skipping meals, I'm not so sure" he says, " Make me, " I say, surprised by my courage over here.

" You asked for it," he grins, and the next thing I find I'm being carried by him. " Put me down! " I say, too shocked to raise my voice. " You asked me to make you have dinner right? " he says amusedly, opening the cabin door with his foot and walking towards the dining area. " I will have dinner! Just put me down! " I say, flailing my legs. " Every bit as stubborn as I remember, " he chuckles and puts me down slowly. " Well, at least you're going to have dinner now, "
