Part 26; Trainer

Today was the day that I'd be helping out with Kaijo. I told Aida that I had something I had to do so I couldn't go to practice. I'll end up telling her I'm training another team they could possibly go up against. She'd probably be a little upset with me. Because I don't do much for Seirin they kinda pushed me aside as a general manager when I could be much more than that.

So I took matters into my own hands and got myself a job that fits me more. And I get to spend more time with Ryota. I start to walk into the gym seeing him practicing hard.

He stopped for a moment to get a drink so I took that as I went behind him, "Whatcha up to Ryota?" I asked as I made him jump around.

He smiled brightly, "What are you doing here?" He was quick to ask but he tried to wrap his arms around my waist but I pulled back.

"You're full of sweat," I said grossly as he tried but I kept backing up, "Don't touch me!" I yelled as I ran away with him chasing me.

"I just want a hug," He said before trying to catch me sped up.

I laughed, "I'm not hugging you until you shower." I say as he stops chasing me.

He stops to catch his breath, "How do you run so fast?"

I shrugged not knowing how I was so fast I guess I just turned around to look for the coach. I see him and walk over to him. Leaving Ryota behind.

"What are we doing today?" I asked as he shrugged.

"Whatever you want," He said, going into his office. I smiled as I walked over to the team crossing my arms.

Ryota walks up still panting, "How are you not sweating from running that much?" He asked as I again just shrugged.

"Anyways I'm helping you guys train today and before you ask I've got special permission." I smile widely, "Anyway I'm going to need to know your position, and Ryota I already know you're a small forward."

'Kasamatsu is a point guard, Moriyama is a shooting guard, Hayakawa is a power forward, Kobori is a center, Nakamura is a shooting guard.'

"Moriyama and Nakamura I want to shoot 3-pointers and if you miss 5 you add 10 minutes of conditioning at the end of practice," I say as they whined but did what I asked them to do, "Kasamatsu I want you to run around the gym five times without stopping and if you do you as well with get 10 minutes of extra conditioning. Hayakawa, I want you to work on dunking for now." I paused before turning to Ryota, "You're going to be running from one side of the court and scoring then to the other side and scoring 10 times with no breaks," I said as he pouted.

I walked around watching all of them train, I went over to Moriyama and Nakamura seeing them shooting pretty well. I looked at my watch as I worked them to the core. I looked over to Kasamatsu who was stopped while panting.

"I did it," He says as he grabs his water bottle and downs it. Ryota does the same exact thing as I walk over to Moriyama and Nakamura, stopping them.

"I missed 4 of them," Nakamura said as he walked over to get his water bottle.

I looked over to Moriyama who was pouting, "I missed six," He said as I smiled.

"Thank you for being honest with me. Go take a break. I'll let you off the hook for today. "Hayakawa, you can take a break!" I yelled as he quickly walked over to get himself a drink.

I look over to see Ryota laying on the ground groaning, "Y/n-cchi I didn't know you could be this hardcore."

I chuckled, "Well that's because I've never been a trainer because I always suck at being a general manager like I am at Seirin." I say shrugging.

"This is why you should've come to Kaijo with me," He said while sitting up.

I frowned as I pulled him up to his feet, "You know why I went to Seirin and honestly I like training with you guys plus this is just professional because I'm getting paid to do it." I smirk while he rolls his eyes.

He tries to put his arms around me but I dodge, "The pictures from the shoot should be coming out soon," He said, making me smile. We could finally go on dates like a real couple because of this I just hope he doesn't get any hate for it.
