Bryan couldn't sleep that night, his blood sugar levels skyrocketed again. Luckily, one of the IVs hooked up to him is an insulin pump but it's still in the process of getting his levels back to normal. Bryan was very hot and the surrounding electrical appliances were flickering. "Bryan, what are you doing?" John asked as soon as he woke up, noticing the lights flickering. "Sorry, it's my blood sugar, my insulin pump is taking care of my levels," Bryan said. "So to indicate if you have high blood sugar or hypoglycaemia, at least one form of energy goes haywire?" Andy asked. "I dunno about hypoglycamia but whenever I have high blood sugar, heat also emits from me," Bryan said. "So that's why Dr Edwards misdiagnosed you, apart from not wanting to help you," Bono said.
"Yeah and this is what happens when you misdiagnose someone, diabetic ketoacidosis and loads of IVs," Bryan said, pointing at the multiple IVs he has. "I feel you, I had loads of IVs during my hospital stay thanks to my mitochondrial disorder, and a tracheostomy," Roger said. That's when Paul heard something from the hallway. "Hey, I think I heard something," Paul said. "What is it?" Marc asked. "It's Dr Edwards, I think she's approaching us," Paul said. Curt then increased the volume of his hearing aid to hear her, Bono used his enhanced sight to see if she's approaching while Andy, Fletch and Alan used their clairvoyance powers to feel her presence. "Do you hear anything?" Roland asked. "More like see, Dr Edwards is about to approach our room," Bono said.
"Holy crap, what are we going to do?" Richard asked. That's when Miyagi chirped out something before it turned invisible. "What did it say?" Kim asked. "It said turn invisible and hide," Curt said. "Nah, you're too late," Dr Edwards said, barging into Bryan's room with a syringe. This woke Jon up, he fell off Bryan's bed accidentally tipping over his IVs. Luckily, Alan used his telekinesis to prevent it from ending up on the floor and accidentally being pulled out, especially because Bryan has a feeding tube. "Wow, thanks," Bryan said. "Don't sweat it," Alan said as Jon groaned. "What happened?" Jon asked before he looked up and saw Dr Edwards. "She just barged into our room," Kim said. "That's correct, new girl, Kim isn't it?" Dr Edwards asked. "How do you know my name?" Kim asked.
"Daughter of Marty Wilde, formerly known as Reginald Smith, I suspect your name was also originally Kim Smith," Dr Edwards said. "It was, but I go by Kim Wilde, and how do you know my dad?" Kim asked. "We used to date," Dr Edwards said. "Okay, that sort of sounds illegal if you ask me if your dad was experimented on as a teen," Marc said. "Marc, Dr Edwards is in the same age group as our parents," Paul said. "My mum was experimented on, not my dad, she also had mito," Kim said. "I still can't believe that man dumped me for your mother, and you're just as ugly as her as well," Dr Edwards said. "Excuse me?!" Kim asked, feeling an itch to start using her powers against the doctor. Dr Edwards soon approached her, with the syringe she's holding in her hand.
"What is in that syringe?" Curt asked. Jon then used his powers to identify the object Dr Edwards was holding. "Immunosuppressants, if they were injected into Kim, her immune system would go haywire," Jon said. "Kim, watch out!" Bono yelled out as soon as Kim reached the wall. That's when she used her telekinesis to prevent Dr Edwards from injecting her. "You are not injecting me, Dr Edwards," Kim said. Dr Hayley, Dr O'Connor and Dr Mills came in just in time. "What's going on here?" Dr Hayley asked. "Can't believe that the cheater's daughter is with you," Dr Edwards said. "Cheater?" Dr O'Connor asked. "She's referring to my father," Kim said, clarifying what Dr Edwards said. "Why every time we're in the hospital, something crazy happens?" Bryan asked.
"I have no idea," Maddy said. Kim was also feeling the same itch to get rid of air from Dr Edwards' lungs. "Rachel, you gotta stop messing with those kids, they're very powerful," Dr O'Connor said. "How powerful do you think they are?" Dr Edwards said before being cut off. Kim was using her powers against Dr Edwards. "No way, she's the daughter of Marty Wilde," Dr Mills said. "But my dad didn't experiment on him, it was Kim's mother, she looks exactly like her," Dr Hayley said. "No wonder why she looks so similar," Dr Mills said. Then, Kim got rid of all the air from Dr Edwards, practically killing her. "She really is powerful, just like her mother," Dr Hayley said. "Oh no, what have I done?" Kim asked, seemingly regretting the action she did.
