Back in the hospital, Bryan already has enough strength to walk so he and Jon were walking around the hospital. Bryan is still on oxygen but as a precaution because he's scared he won't be able to breathe while he's walking. Some more of his IVs were off and the only IVs he had left were his formulated food and cold saline for hydration. "Okay, how do you feel now?" Jon asked. "I feel good, like a lot better than before, though I still feel a bit weak," Bryan said. "You lost a lot of weight, are you okay?" Jon asked. "It's normal for a diabetic to lose weight, not to mention I also have coeliac so," Bryan said, trailing off. "You wanna go to the play area, Bryan?" Jon asked. "No thank you, I just want to explore the halls, everything is colourful in the children's ward," Bryan said.

Jon and Bryan continued walking and stopped by a random patient. "Bryan, what is it?" Jon asked. "I don't know, the energy in my fingers is tingling," Bryan said. "Let's get you back to your room," Jon said. Bryan nodded and he allowed Jon to bring his oxygen tank and hold him upright as they walked back to the room. Once they got there, Jon helped Bryan back to bed before Alex rolled in a cart. Both of them knew what time it was, it was lunch. "Okay Bryan, this is your lunch," Alex said, revealing a salad, plain greek yogurt and a sandwich. "Is it gluten free? The bread?" Bryan asked. "Yeah, I had to make sure the bread is gluten free before giving it to you since you also have coeliac disease," Alex said. "Wow, thanks," Bryan said as he began eating his food.

Alex also brought Jon some food in case he's hungry. "In case you're hungry, it's already lunch anyway," Alex said. "Thank you," Jon said as he began eating his sandwich which is gluten free. "What's the difference between gluten free and gluten not free bread?" Jon asked. "Gluten kills me, this bread didn't kill me so this is gluten free," Bryan said. "Hope you have a good lunch," Alex said before leaving. As the 2 were eating lunch, the Wild Boys arrived. "Hey guys," Paul said. "Oh, didn't know you were coming," Bryan said. "We took a half day leave to check on you guys," Simon said. "Kind of wished Mr Harrison got you guys into trouble with how many leaves you had," Kim said. "Mr Harrison is aware of us being aliens, even though we're almost graduating," Dave said.

"What's the connection between our alien-related missions and our grades?" Jon asked. "We actually tend to catch up on work while we are absent and join a lot of clubs too," Kate said. "Yeah," Maddy said. The Wild Boys decided to hang around the hospital room for a bit. "So, how are you feeling now, Bryan?" Richard asked. "A bit better actually," Bryan said. "That's good, glad you're recovering from DKA," Paul said. "Did you have lunch though?" Jon asked. "Yeah, we had some Mexican food today, but John and Richard didn't eat any and ended up getting Chinese food," Roger said. "I can't eat cheese, Roger, I'm allergic to dairy," Richard said. "And we're not supposed to eat dairy after eating meat," John said. "Well, I can't eat gluten and certain foods now thanks to diabetes and coeliac," Bryan said.

"So how long will you be tube fed?" Andy asked. "It'll be removed once I get released, but I'll still be on oxygen because of a few scars in my lungs," Bryan said. "All the time?" John asked. "No, only if I'm feeling poorly," Bryan said, eating his sandwich. "At least it's better than having it on all the time, like you'll constantly trip over yours or someone else's oxygen tubing, not to mention how stiff it feels when you wore it for the first time," Curt said. "It also smells bad," Richard said. "I can't smell a single thing," Roger said. "Okay, well I hope nothing crazy happens after this," Kim said. "Does anybody know how to predict the future, though?" Marc asked. "No, we don't have prophecies," Paul said. "Andrew and I just rewind time, we don't fast forward time," George said.

"Are there any more alien-hybrids like us though? Maybe someone could at least have prophecies," Roland asked. "That's one thing we should find out, there are probably more people like us," Simon said. Just then, Dr Hayley, Dr O'Connor and Dr Mills came in. "Hi guys, how are we doing?" Dr Hayley asked. "Doing good, we just got half day leave, again," Nick said. "Okay, but we're here to tell you something," Dr Hayley said. "Is it something to do with Bryan?" Jon asked. "No, Bryan's okay now," Dr O'Connor said. "It's about your classmate who supposedly died last year, almost last year because it is just February," Dr Hayley said. "'Supposedly?!' You gotta be kidding me," Curt exclaimed. "Yeah, I thought he's dead all this time," Martin said.
