Don't leave me

Y/N pov
I woke up in Rissa's arms and started to panic. Today was the day I might lose the love of my life. I started to cry and she woke up. "Baby don't worry. It's going to be okay." she said while putting her arms around me "You don't know that." I said while sobbing. "Please don't leave me Rissa." she kissed my forehead "I'll try my best." We just laid there until she had to get ready to go to the hospital. I was going with her so I had to get up as well.

When we arrived at the hospital I felt a panic attack coming and before I knew it I was heaving and sobbing and Larissa held me again "Y/N/N sweetheart I'm not dying today you hear me? We're gonna get married and have children. Only if you want of course. But we're going to live long and happy and together. Just calm down darling. Please." I took a deep breath, wiped away my tears and got out of the car.

We met with the surgeon and I immediately start interrogating him "How many of these have you done?" he smirked "At least a hundred." "And how many of those were successful?" "I've had 85 successful outcomes on this surgery." "So an 85% success rate?" "Yes ma'am, we're going to take extra good care of your mother." I was taken aback "She's my girlfriend you mediocre piece of-" "Okay darling that's enough. Sorry about her, she's just really stressed that something will go wrong during surgery and that I'll die or become a plant." he smiled "I understand and don't worry I'll do my best to keep your girlfriend alive and well." I smiled "You better."

They took her into surgery and now I was all alone waiting in the waiting room until "Y/N/N there you are!" it was Enid and Wen "Did they take her into surgery already?" Enid asked "Yeah and I'm freaking out." I said before breaking into tears again. Enid held me while Wednesday went to investigate "Where's Wen going?" asked Enid "She loves hospitals, she's probably searching for a way to get into the scrub room of Larissa's surgery." she giggled "Y/N/N, I think I'm going to ask her out." I smiled widely "Finally." I said while hugging her.

"Mrs Weems?" I turned around by hearing her name "Do you have an update on her?" she smiles "Yes, miss, your wife is doing great, they've resected her tumor and are now closing." I smiled, she left and I looked at Enid who was wiggling her eyebrows "She said your wife and you didn't correct her." "Well I'm planning to propose to her but I'm not sure when or how." "Leave that to me I'll come up with something." "Thanks Enid."

"You can see her now." I walked into her room to find her asleep and okay "Will she wake up soon?" "Any minute now." After half an hour of waiting I was done and went to find a nurse or doctor. "Euhm excuse me." the nurse turned around "Yes, how may I help you?" "Hi, they said my girlfriend would wake up any minute now. But it's been half a hour and she hasn't even moved yet." "Okay, well what is the name of your doctor?" "Doctor Shepherd (the ones who get it get it)." "Let me page him and I'll be right with you. Okay?" I nodded and went back to Rissa's room. I grabbed her hand and held it to my chest "Please Rissa wake up. If you can hear me give me a sign or something." I felt a squeeze in my hand.

Rissa's pov
I squeezed her hand, I could hear her, but I couldn't open my eyes. "Okay if you can hear me squeeze my hand once. If not squeeze twice. Wait that doesn't make sense how could she squeeze it twice if she-" I gave her one squeeze just to shut her up because she was rambling again "Was that to shut me up?" she asked with a chuckle and I squeezed her hand once "Can you open your eyes?" two squeezes "Do you still love me?" she asked worriedly, one squeeze. I felt her relax and kiss my forehead.

"She still hasn't woken up?" "No shit sherlock, she isn't taking a nap that's for sure." I squeezed her hand to shut her up again "Rissa stop that, he probably broke something in your brain." "How can she stop doing anything if she's not able to do anything?" the doctor asked "She can squeeze my hand." "Mmm, maybe her morphine levels are too high (idk okay 😂)."

Y/N pov
He twisted something and she slowly started to move. And then she opened her eyes "RISSA!" I jumped into her arms "Easy darling easy." I kissed her quickly and then hugged her again "I'm so happy that you're alive!" "Me too." then I turned to the doctor "When can she go home?" "I wanna keep her over night. If nothing changes you can take her home tomorrow." "Can I stay with her?" he smiled "Sure." "Thank you for not killing her." he chuckled "No problem." he left and I laid next to Rissa.

"I love you so much." I said and kissed her deep.
