The rest of the week had gone by smoothly, everyone was so busy trying to get back on school routine that Friday was soon around the corner, and Madison had a party to go to. Draco was specially snobby that day, he walked like he owned the halls along with Theodore Nott and Blaise Zabini. Slytherins had a difficult time making new friends since they were mostly either pure bloods or at least a long two generations of magical blood, so their parties were pretty exclusive.
Madison skipped dinner to get ready with time on her hands. She showered, put on some light make up and wore a little black flared dress, black loafers on her feet. When she finally felt ready she checked herself out in the mirror, smiling at what she was seeing. She decided to wear her hair down, taking off her every day velvet ribbon. The young witch was ready and arriving at the bottom of the stairs ten minutes early, where her platinum blond friend already awaited for her, looking around with his hand in his pockets.
He wore all black as usual, black shirt, belts, trousers and oxfords. The contrast only made his blond look even blonder than it was. She sneaked up on him, poking his shoulder and hiding, making him fall on her prank, laughing because he knew it was her.
"You're early sir" she said finally standing in front of him. Draco eyed her from feet to face, his expression confused her, "you don't like the outfit?" Madi asked.
He lightly cleared his throat before speaking, "I don't like it when you cover your freckles"
Madison rolled her eyes, "really, Draco? This is what you have to say, I skipped dinner to get ready and be on time" she whimpered.
"I skipped dinner too...and you look... I don't even want to take you anymore" he tried to make a joke, but she could tell some of it was concealed truth.
"C'mon Malfy, don't kill the party before we actually arrive at the party" she approached him, poking him in places she knew made him squeal and giggle.
"Stop it!" He laughed as he threw his arm over her shoulder, "Let's go then, to the snakes den"
Madison felt a bit nervous about going to the Slytherin's commons even though she was raised with them, somehow something was just boiling in her, the urge to pick a side, to fight against her founding beliefs but she swallowed that knot on her throat and made it in through the door.
"Madi-SONNN" Blaise screamed getting off the black leather Chesterfield couch. He made his was to her with such a big smile that made her smile as well. Blaise lifted her up on his shoulders, spinning her around.
"Look who's here...the lost Slytherin..." he yelled to the rest of the people sitting and standing around with drinks in their hands. Draco felt annoyed, specially since Madison's butt was almost showing from her dress.
"Put her down mate, that's enough" he said, tapping Blaise on the shoulder. Madison laughed at the reception, feeling welcomed.
A dark haired boy locked eyes on her from a distance, a cigarette being held loosely on his lips, his hand on the thighs of a beautiful blond witch. He inhaled deeply making the tip of the cigarette burn and light up, then with his free hand drawing it out with two relaxed fingers. Theodore Nott, burned her with his gaze, his dark green eyes just trying to get something out of her.
Blaise put her down, making his way back to no other than Pansy Parkinson, this was new.
"Nice try Theo..." Madison spoke, " but no one get's in, you know that" she pointed to her head, Theodore smirked.
"You know, sometimes we discuss wether you're actually a pure-blood or not...you should've been with us from the beginning"
Draco rolled his eyes, making his way to the set up bar at the back of the room.
