Tony walks over to Bruce "It's good to meet you, Dr. Banner. Your work in antielectron collisions is unparalleled. And I'm a huge fan of the way you lose control and turn into an enormous green rage-monster." He says and Bruce pauses for a second. "Thanks."

"Dr. Banner is only here to track the Cube. I was hoping you might join him." Nick says to Tony. "I would start with that stick of his. It may be magical, but it looks an awful like a HYDRA weapon." Steve speaks up.

"I don't know about that, but it is powered by the Cube. And I would like to know how Loki used it to turn two of the sharpest men I know into his personal flying monkeys." Fury states and Thor plasters a look of pure confusion on his face.

"Monkeys? I do not understand." he says. "I do. I understood that reference." Steve exclaims as he looks around. "Yikes." Y/N says under her breath due to the awkward silence. "Shall we play, Doctor?" Tony finally says to Bruce.

"This way, sir."

Some time later Y/N got intel from Natasha that the both of them would be talking, well interrogating Loki. Since Y/N was a telepath and could read minds she would try to get through to Loki first. And that's where she was now. "There's not many people who can sneak up on me." Loki says to Y/N.

"Well, somehow you figured I'd show up." Y/N replies. "After. After whatever tortures Fury concoct, you would appear as a friend, as a balm. And I would cooperate." Loki says facing Y/N. "Tell me what you did to Agent Barton." she says in monotone.

Loki chuckles "Feisty, I see. But I would say I've expanded his mind." he says and Y/N rolls her eyes before stepping closer. "And once you've got what you wanted what happens to his mind and his thoughts?"

"Oh. Did Agent Romanoff put you up to this, is this love?" Loki asks. "Love is for little kids. And no, she owes him a debt if you must know. Well, I kinda owe the both of them one." Y/N says uncrossing her arms. "Tell me." Loki states.

"All right, I'm not gonna tell you about Agent Romanoff because she can tell herself. But, I will spare a few details on my situation. "Okay, before I become apart of S.H.I.E.L.D, I had to make a lot of sacrifices, many of them happened to be people really close to me.

Eventually I put myself in some pretty fucked up situations which caused me to become sort of a wanted fugitive. No one could stand my existence, so they wanted me gone. This next part is where Agent Barton and Agent Romanoff come into the story.

I was supposed to be turned in or killed but they saw something in me that nobody else did and they figured I was sort of troubled, even though I was a full grown adult." Y/N finishes.

"And what will you do if I vow to spare him?" Loki says. "Not let you out." Natasha says as she enters and Y/N stands as she switches places with Natasha. "Ah, Agent Romanoff, what a lovely surprise." Loki says.

Y/N turns around and looks back at Loki as she starts to speak to him telepathically. Cut the shit, Loki. Just tell us what your deal is.

Loki chuckles "You're very clever, Agent L/N. But I'm afraid your tactics aren't going to work." he says and Y/N rolls her eyes before looking back at Natasha and nodding before leaving.

Nick enters the lab where Tony and Bruce were. "What are you doing, Mr. Stark?" he says. "Uh, kind of been wondering the same thing about you." Tony tells him. "You're supposed to be locating the Tesseract." Fury states.

"We are. The model's locked and we're sweeping for the signature now. When we get a hit, we'll have the location within half a mile." Bruce explains. "Yeah, then you get your Cube back. No muss, no fuss. What is "Phase 2"?" Tony states.

Steve walks in and he places something down before walking over to the three. "Phase 2 is S.H.I.E.L.D uses the Cube to make weapons. Sorry, computer was moving a little slow for me." he says. "Rogers, we gathered everything related to the Tesseract. This does not mean that we're making..." Nick tries to explain to Steve.

"I'm sorry... Nick. What were you lying?" Tony says showing the monitor. "I was wrong, Director. The world hasn't changed a bit." Steve says as Thor, Natasha and Y/N enter.

"Did you know about this?" Bruce asks. "You want to think about removing yourself from this environment, Doctor?" Natasha responds.

Bruce chuckles "I was in Calcutta. I was pretty well removed." he says. "Loki is manipulating you." Natasha says. "And you've been doing what, exactly?" Bruce replies. "You didn't come here because I bat my eyelashes at you."

"Yes, and I'm not leaving, because suddenly you get a little twitchy. I'd like to know why S.H.I.E.L.D. is using the Tesseract to build weapons of mass destruction." Bruce spoke.

"Because of him." Nick points to Thor. "Me?" Thor responds. "Last year, Earth had a visitor form another planet who had a grudge match that leveled a small town. We learned that not only are we not alone, but we are hopelessly, hilariously, outgunned." Fury says.

"My people want nothing but peace with your planet." Thor explains. "But you're not the only people out there, are you? And you're not the only threat. The world's filling up with people who can't be matched, they can't be controlled." Nick says.

"Like you controlled the Cube?" Steve says.

"Your work with the Tesseract is what drew Loki to it, and his allies. It is a signal to all the realms that the Earth is ready for a higher form of war." Thor states. "A higher form? You forced our hand. We hand to come up with something." Nick says.

"A nuclear deterrent. Because that always calms everything right down." Tony inputs. Fury turns to look at Tony "Remind me again how you made your fortune, Stark." he says.

"I'm sure if he still made weapons, Stark would be neck-deep..." Steve interjects. "Hold on. How is this now about me?" Tony spoke. "I'm sorry, isn't everything?" Steve replies and Y/N snorts. "I thought humans were more evolved than this." Thor adds.

Nick turns to him "Excuse me, did we come to your planet and blow stuff up?" he says and he, Steve, Tony and Thor all start to argue. "Are you boys really that Naive? S.H.I.E.L.D. monitors potential threats." Natasha says.

"Captain America's on threat watch?" Bruce questions. "We all are." Natasha and Y/N reply.

"Wait, you're on that list? Are you above or below angry bees?" Tony says. "Stark... So help me God, if you make one more wisecrack..." Steve retorts. "Threat! Verbal threat. I feel threatened." Tony says.

"You're literally being so dramatic!" Y/N tells Tony as she walks over to him. "I'm the one being dramatic?" He replies. "Yes!" she says back.

"Show some respect." Steve says to Tony.

"Respect what?" Everyone was too busy arguing that none of them noticed the glowing of the specter.
