𝐃𝐑𝐈𝐕𝐄 || 𝐓𝐎𝐍𝐘 𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐑𝐊

𝟐𝟏.

Ya'll this chapter might suck so bad because I suck at writing fighting scenes. Or maybe because it's been a while since I've decided to even write. But this part is gonna be split into two parts.

After Y/N runs off the machine shoots a beam into the sky causing Loki's alien army to appear and attack the city. Not having a second thought Y/N goes to help civilians. Meanwhile, a quinjet crashes to the ground and Natasha, Clint and Steve all walk out. Y/N runs over and meets the three as they run.

"We gotta get back up there." Steve says. Y/N, Steve, Natasha and Clint come to a halt in front of a building. The four notice the giant portal that spat out more aliens. "Oh shit." Y/N spoke. "Stark, are you seeing this?" Steve says into the comms.

"Seeing. Still working on believing. Where's Banner has he shown up yet?" Tony replies.

"Banner?" Steve questions. "Just keep me posted." A few seconds or so later Steve, Natasha, Clint and Y/N were crouched beside a taxi. "We got civilians still trapped up here."

Some of the Chitauri jump down and land on turned over cars. Clint runs to crouch behind another cab as Natasha shoots and Y/N tends to the tiny wound on her abdomen, well more like applying pressure to it. "We got this. It's good. Go." Natasha assures Steve. "You think you can hold them off?" Steve asks.

"Captain, it would be my genuine pleasure." Clint says before readying his arrows and eventually shooting some of the Chitauri. Natasha continues to shoot her guns as Y/N stands up beside her in order to help take care of the aliens. "You sure you can do this, I mean you're bleeding a lot."

Y/N chuckles "When has a lil blood ever stopped me?" she replies before pulling out her gun and shooting at the Chitauri. She and Natasha both shot at the aliens as Clint helped civilians out of a bus and Steve run off using his shield.

Clint comes back over to where Y/N and Natasha were as he used his bow. "It's like Budapest all over again." Natasha spoke to Clint. "You and I remember Budapest very differently." he responds. "Wha- Budapest? Is that a inside joke? You know what, I wasn't there it's none of my business." Y/N added as she continued shooting her gun.

As Steve runs he eventually hops on top of a car and looks down at two police officers. "You need men in these buildings. There are people inside and they're going to be running right into the line of fire. You take them to the basements or through the subway. You keep them off the streets. I need a perimeter as far back as 39th." Steve tells the officers.

"Why the hell should I take orders from you?" one of them say. An explosion happens causing some of the Chitauri hop on a taxi and Steve fights them off causing the officers to rethink.

Tony flies around and he goes near the Chitauri that was dropping the other aliens (basically the mothership, I guess) and he sends something its way causing parts to fall down.

"Well, that got his attention. What the hell was step two?" Tony says as the mothership followed him. On the ground Natasha, Y/N and Clint continued to fight the Chitauri. As the three of them fought off the aliens, Steve and Thor joined them.

For now the Chitauri that they were fighting were all knocked down. "What's the story upstairs?" Steve asks Thor. "The power surrounding the Cube is impenetrable."

"Thor's right. We got to deal with these guys." Tony says from the comms. "How do we do this?" Natasha spoke up. "As a team." Steve replies. "I have unfinished business with Loki." Thor states. "Yeah? Well, get in line." Clint adds. "Save it. Loki's gonna keep this fight focused on us, and that's what we need. Without him, these things could run wild. We got Stark up top. He's going to need us to..."

As Steve talks everyone hears the sound of a motorcycle cycle. Pulling up on one, was Bruce. The other five Avengers that were currently on the ground walk over to him. "So, this all seems horrible." Bruce says. "I've seen worse." Natasha spoke. "Sorry." Bruce apologizes. "No, we could use a little worse." says Natasha.

"Stark, we got him." Steve tells Tony.

"Banner?"

"Just like you said." Steve tells Tony.

"Then tell him to suit up. I'm bringing the party to you." Tony replied as he came into view as he flew in the air with the mothership behind him. "I don't see how that's a party." Natasha says. "Exactly, there's nothing to bring out bottles, confetti cannons or cake for." Y/N rebuttals.

Bruce turns in the direction of the destruction and he starts walking. Steve calls out to Bruce as everyone watched "Dr Banner? Now might be a really good time for you to get angry." he says. "That's my secret, Captain. I'm always angry." Bruce turns into the Hulk and he punches the Chitauri mothership causing it to slow down and flip over.

As the mothership was heading in the direction of the Avengers who were on the ground. Tony uses his blasters to shoot it. "Hold on!" as he shoots it debris falls just before everyone uses some kind of cover to protect themselves from the fallen parts and flames. As the seven Avengers look around they somehow ended up in one big circle. To their surprise, there were civilians cheering. Natasha looks up and she notices more Chitauri coming out of the portal in the sky. "Guys." she says to the others.

"Damn, more unwanted guests." Y/N adds.

"Call it, Captain." Tony tells Steve. "All right, listen up. Until we can close that portal, our priority is containment. Barton, I want you on that roof. Eyes on everything. Call out patterns and strays. Stark, you got the perimeter. Anything gets more than three blocks out, you turn it back or you turn it to ash." Steve tells them.

"Can you give me a lift?" Clint asks Tony.

"Right. Better clench up, Legolas." Tony grabs Clint and he flies up and away. "Thor, you got to try and bottleneck that portal. Slow em down. You got the lightning. Light the bastards up." Steve tells Thor who flies away using his hammer. Y/N and Natasha turn their attention to Steve "The three of us, we stay here on the ground. We keep the fighting here. And Hulk..." Steve finally says making the Hulk turn and face him.

"Smash."
