BACK IN MALIBU, firefighters, police, and news reporters were on the scene. As they worked on the scene Y/N stood away from it all holding a mask from the suit that was put on her. Out of nowhere she puts the mask to her forehead. If she was being honest, she missed Tony and she hoped he was okay. Yeah, she was a telepathic superhero but it's not like she could do anything about the situation.

Not even a second she then feels a presence beside her and she looks up and sees Pepper who walks up to her and places her hand on Y/N's shoulder and hugging her. After a few moments the two let go and Pepper walks off to talk to the authorities. Sighing, Y/N goes to put the mask down, but she hears beeping.

Looking around for a moment, she puts the mask on and it powers up. "Stark secure server. Retinal scan verified. "Y/N, it's me. I know you're probably wondering why I'm calling you and not Pepper. I just wanted you to know that I've got a lot of apologies to make and not a lot of time. So... First off, I'm so sorry I put you, of all people in harm's way. I know you can defend yourself, trust me, I've seen it. That was selfish and stupid, and it won't happen again..."

In the backseat, Y/N sits and listens to Pepper and Maya who were talking about the events that happened today. Well, more like Pepper was interrogating her. "What was so important that you had to speak to Tony?"

Maya pauses for a moment before speaking "I think my boss is working for the Mandarin. So if you still wanna talk about it. I suggest that we get ourselves someplace safe." Maya replies.

Y/N scoots closer to where she'll be heard by Pepper and Maya "Hold on, Pep. Lemme say something." she says before looking at Maya.

"So, you telling me that you think your boss works for the Mandarin? Didn't Tony say you were a botanist or something?" Y/N spoke as she put her chin in her hand. "That figures. What I actually am is a biological DNA coder running a team of 40 out of privately funded think tank. But sure, you can call me a botanist." Maya says.

Y/N pauses "What does that have to do with plants?" she says chuckling before regaining her composure. Pepper was next to speak as she dismissed Y/N's question "This boss of yours, does he have a name?" she asks.

"Yeah, Aldrich Killian." Maya replies and Pepper side-eyes her and look at Y/N in the rear view mirror who was leaning her head against the seat in frustration before looking back at Maya.

Back in Tennessee with Tony and Harley the two of them walk down the street of the town they were in. "The sandwich was fair, the spring was a little rusty, the rest of the materials, I'll make do. By the way, when you said your sister had a watch..."

"Yeah?"

"...I was kind of hoping for something a little more adult than that." Tony says to Harley as he lifts up his sleeve revealing a Dora watch.

Harley laughs "She's six. Anyway, it's a limited edition. When can we talk about New York?" he says. "Maybe never. Relax about it." Tony replies. "What about the Avengers? Can we talk about them?"

"I dunno. Later. Hey, kid, give me a little space." Tony spoke and the two of them come upon a memorial vigil that was in an alleyway. Tony looks around before asking: "What's the official story here? What happened?"
