A/N: This is more like a filler chapter. It's a side story we don't see in the main plot and this was the only thing I could think about. It's all in 3rd person.

TW: There will be slight violence and maybe some adult stuff

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

A nervous Wooyoung and a stressed San walked out the lift of the 20-story building. Wooyoung's parents lived on the 10th floor. Ever since Wooyoung got into college, his parents thought it was best to shift towards the outskirts of the city. It surely was more peaceful there but it was also closer to Wooyoung's brother's workplace and they thought it was best to shift at that time because he was getting married. Last month Wooyoung became an uncle to a baby girl.

San having only watched this scene in movies had no idea how to act. He felt stressed but Wooyoung kept reassuring him that it wasn't that bad. Wooyoung came out to his parents in 10th grade. They were okay with it. Maybe it was because he wasn't the first born so he wasn't required to produce a heir. Wooyoung's parents weren't very orthodox but they still wanted a heir, not necessary a male one but yes.

He remembered the time his brother brought the girl of his dreams home. They looked good together. His parents obviously did the "How much money does she make? What are her qualifications? " Now it was close to 3 years since that. Now it was Wooyoung's turn. A lot younger than the age his brother proposed, he was sure his parents would tell him to wait until college got over. I mean, he just turned 21. He had his whole life ahead of him. He was in his 3rd year of studying to be a dentist.

It was 7 in the evening. They got the paperwork to be done after they left Mingi's clinic. San was now an official citizen of ESS. If he got a job, he'd have to pay taxes, he'd get medical check ups, which was a good thing. 40% of San's bill during pregnancy would be payed by the Government now. He had a birth certificate before hand anyways because the boxes had them. It was obviously a tangible one. Unlike Seonghwa, San was a perfectly calculated sample. He was built like those meant for war. He was meant to be disguised as a human. It made Wooyoung wonder, "Did I pick a wrong one for Hongjoong?"

Hongjoong and Seonghwa were on good terms. Seonghwa was nice to everyone! He wouldn't complain too much or be picky about the foods he wanted. It had been only 2 or 3 days so far.  He liked strawberry and Wooyoung learnt that when Seonghwa jumped seeing the tetrapack in Mingi's hand. Wooyoung knew Hongjoong did enjoy raising Seonghwa but he felt maybe.... maybe if he was a better model Hongjoong's paperwork would get easier.

Unlike San, Seonghwa would have a childhood. He would want to go school, make friends, try aiming for college, fall in love. San never got to desire those things. The moment he opened his eyes, he knew he was to fall in love with Wooyoung. Wooyoung didn't like to study but that mostly because he knew he was part of a system he can't explain. He had to study well to get into a good college and once he's in a good college he has to maintain his grades to get a good job. Once he'd get a job he'd have to work to get a good sum of money and by the time he has enough to spend he wouldn't be young. He'd be too old to travel and see the world, too old to run around fields aimlessly. Slowly ailments would take over and eventually he would also have to leave someday.

What if San didn't get pregnant? He would age slower. He'd have to see Wooyoung grow old while he wouldn't get old with him. He'd have to go through the pain of watching Wooyoung growing weaker. Maybe getting pregnant was a good thing... but wasn't it too early?

San would have to do his Bachelors first, then get a job if they needed to keep supporting the baby. Wooyoung didn't have a part time job yet. He didn't feel the need to have one until this. He would talk about that to his parents as well. Maybe he could get a paid intership somewhere. Maybe the clinic Mingi worked in had a vacancy for a dentist. Was it only meant for the humanoids? He doubted so. They were illegal by government standards so it didn't make sense that Mingi was working in a public clinic despite knowing everything about these humanoids but Wooyoung was glad he did. After all, all the growth information that Jongho gave him were on Mingi's advice.
