"Are you sure you don't want me to stay a little longer?" Akira would say as she puts her phone in her pocket. "I've got it dear, don't worry about it!" Mr. Tsuchiya says as he wipes off the counter.
"Thank you Mr. Tsuchiya. Have a nice day!" Akira says as she walks towards the front door. "You too Akira!" Mr. Tsuchiya would respond, waving to her.
Akira smiles at him as she waves, and then she walks out of the antique store. She looks back and forth down the street, and then she starts walking down the sidewalk.
Akira walks through Chinatown, and then she sees Skipper talking to two officers and two people she hasn't seen before. One of them seems to be a kid, no older then 15.
'Why'd he bring his kid along to interview a mafia gang leader? Doesn't he have any common sense?' She'd think to herself.
Oh well, who is she to judge.
Akira chuckles at the ridiculousness of it all as she walks over, waving as she calls out to her small friend. "Hey, Skip!"
The five look over at Akira as she waves, and Skipper smiles, waving back. "Hey Akira! What are you doing here?"
Akira walks over to the table they're sitting at, shrugging her shoulders at the question. "Happened to be passing through. Just got off of work and thought I'd stop by."
She looks over at Norris and Charlie, nodding her head at them. "Norris, Charlie." Charlie would nod back, Norris grinning politely. "Hello, Akira."
Akira's attention would then turn to the two she knows to be the visitors. Upon further inspection, the boy she thought was 15 seems to be older then originally suspected.
"Who are these two?" She'd ask, smiling as the older man reaches his hand out. Akira would take his hand, shaking it.
'Strong grip, but he doesn't seem to be aggressive.'
"This is Shunichi Ibe, and his assistant Eiji Okumura. They're here on journalist business to interview Ash." Charlie says as he gestures to the two, Akira nodding in acknowledgment.
"Nice to meet you." Ibe would say to Akira with a grin. "Nice to meet you too. Name's Akira!" Akira says with a returning smile.
She then looks to the younger boy, who stands up straighter to seem more welcoming, Akira would guess.
She reaches her hand out to Eiji, and he shakes her hand softly. "Nice to meet you Eiji!" "Nice to meet you too!" The two let go, and then Akira can't help but ask what's on her mind. "How old are you?"
Eiji seems to have been asked that a lot since he lets out an annoyed, but seemingly prepared, sigh. "I'm 19..."
Akira would grin, leaning her weight against the table with her right arm. "I had a feeling! You look young, but I could tell you were older."
Ibe was obviously not expecting that by his facial expression. "How'd you know?" Eiji asks, relieved and surprised that someone finally didn't mistake him for a kid.
Akira would smirk, crossing her arms as she takes her weight off the table. "How old do you think I am?" Skipper, Norris and Charlie would look at each other with knowing expressions.
