We all know that the triplets are night owls. Lets just say, you need your beauty sleep. You were laying in bed with Matt at around 10pm. "Y/n can we watch a movie." Matt asks looking down at you. "Of course, what do you wanna watch?" You ask. "Can we watch Chucky?" He asks giggling, knowing you will have no interest in it at all. "No Matt, you know I hate horror movies." You say with a frown beginning to form on your face. "Baby it's not real, I'll be with you the whole time I promise." Matt says rubbing your hand. "Fine." You say smirking. "Yay." Says Matt cutely as he pulls you into his chest.
An hour into the movie you are dead asleep on top Matt, which doesn't surprise him one bit. He feels you begin to toss and turn, as you grip onto his t shirt in your sleep. He could tell straight away that you were having a nightmare.
"Y/n, baby, wake up." He says in a soft voice, as he rubs your shoulder trying to wake you up. You shoot up as you gasp for air, and tears run down your face. "Hey hey hey, come here." Matt says softly as he pulls you into him. You straddle him, and wrap your arms around his neck. One of Matt's hands is rubbing your back trying to calm you down, as the other is rested on your waist.
"It felt so real Matt." You say while sobbing into his shoulder. "Shhh, I know it must've been so scary." He whispered. Matt began to gently rock you back and forwards to calm you down. Matt lifts up your chin with his finger and places a gentle kiss on your cheek, as he cups your face so you're looking at him. "You're safe, I promise." Matt says looking at you in the eyes. "Are you sure?" You ask him with teary eyes. "Of course." He says, kissing your forehead. "Do you want to try and go back to sleep?" Matt asks you. "No I'm scared." You reply defensively. "Hey hey it's okay, I'll stay up with you. Do you want me to go downstairs and get you a snack?" He asks, letting a small smile appear on his face. "Can I come with you." You ask shyly. Matt just giggles in response and takes your hand, intertwining his fingers with yours and guiding you down the stairs.
You make it downstairs as Matt grabs your waist and lifts you onto the counter. He walks over to a cabinet and pulls out a pack of choc chip cookies. He grabs one out of the pack and hands it to you. "Thank you." You say quietly as you take a bite out of your cookie. "Do you need any water?" He asks you. "No it's okay." You reply. "Are you sure?" He asks. "Yeah it's fine." You say. "Thanks for all of this." You say looking at Matt in the eyes. "It's okay, as long as you're okay that's all that matters." Matt says which makes your heart melt. You break off a piece of your cookie and hand it to Matt. "Aw thanks." He said accepting the cookie.
You put your arms around his neck, and place your head on his shoulder. "Are you sleepy?" Matt asks. "Yeah, but I'm scared to go back to sleep."You say. "Do you want me to stay up until you fall asleep?" He asks. "Is that okay?" You ask feeling bad. "Of course it is." Matt says rubbing your back.
Matt lifts you off of the counter, and carries you back to bed. He lays himself down, and places you on top of him. Being so close to Matt immediately makes you feel safer. Matt begins to play with your hair which immediately makes you sleepy. "I love you." You manage to say before you drift off. Matt kisses the top of your head. "I love you." He replies.
