Summary- You and Matt have only been dating for a few months, and there's a storm which forces you to sleep over with Matt for the first time.
It was around 1:30 in the morning, and you were sitting on Matt's lap while he was twitch streaming with his brothers from each of their bedrooms. That is until you all hear a loud crash and every inch of electricity in the house goes out.
"Matt, what's happening?" you ask, quite shaken up.
"Hold on, lemme go check it out," he says, getting up from his gaming chair and exiting his room, leaving you alone in his bedroom.
Matt's pov
I left my room, entering the kitchen to be met with Nick who had just sprinted down the stairs.
"What the actual fuck?" Nick says. Our thoughts were interrupted by Chris running up the stairs with his phone, as well as y/n walking to the kitchen.
"Look," Chris says, showing us all the weather app his phone. Our eyes are all met with large patches of rain all over the radar.
Loud patters start pounding onto the roof, which forces us all to sprint to the window. Nick pulled up the blinds, showing huge hail stones hitting the street, and wild winds shaking up the trees.
"Damn, well I'm going to bed, night ya'll," Nick says trying to navigate his way up the stairs in the dark.
"Same, it's probably quieter in my room anyways," Chris explains, while using his flashlight on his phone to guide him to his room.
I turn on my phone flashlight, and turn it towards y/n who's biting her nails nervously.
"What's the matter?" I ask, stepping closer towards her.
"How am I supposed to get home?" she asks.
"Baby there's no way I'm letting you go out in that weather, you can stay here with me," I explain happily.
"But I don't have a change of clothes, I don't have makeup wipes, I don't have my period stuff," she panics.
"Hey, don't worry, you can wear my clothes, and Nick has some overnight stuff in his bathroom for Madi to use when she stays, so you can use those," I explain, gently rubbing her shoulder.
"Okay, lemme just text my mom and let her know I'm staying," she says.
"Perfect," I say kissing her cheek, running upstairs to go grab the stuff from Nick's bathroom.
Y/n pov
While Matt's in Nick's room, you went into Matt's room and sat on his bed. You're so comfortable being around Matt, but since this was your first ever sleepover together, you grew a little nervous. Not sure why since you guys have had naps together before, but this was the first time you've slept in his bed with him overnight so this was a big deal for you; plus you felt unprepared which caused your anxiety to rise even more.
Your thoughts are interrupted when Matt entered the room, handing you a small bag filled with makeup wipes, feminine hygiene products, and some skincare products.
"Oh, thanks babe," you say taking them and heading towards the bathroom.
Little time skip
You finish in the bathroom and walk back into Matt's room, seeing some of his pijama pants and his hoodie laid out on the bed waiting for you. You go to pick up the clothes and see a little note on the bed.
Hey baby, just went down stairs real quick to raid Chris's room for snacks. You never know what that kid has hiding in his room :)
You giggle to yourself, and quickly change before he comes back into the room. Right after you slip on his hoodie, Matt walks in holding a pack of twizzlers, and some twix bars.
"Got us a little stash," he says cheekily.
You giggle and climb under the bed sheets, with Matt following along.
"You wanna watch some Netflix or something?" Matt asks, getting comfortable.
"Nah I'm pretty tired, I think I might just go to sleep," you say shuffling the slightest bit closer to Matt.
"Baby, you can come closer, I don't bite I promise," he chuckled.
Your cheeks flushed bright pink as you rested your head on his chest and as a soft kiss was placed on your forehead.
