Chapter 21

Peeta pov. (Few days later)

"Did you made all your homework?" I ask Katniss. "Yes i only have to learn english, but i know that pretty well." She says.

"That's good because we are going to sport today! You know running and stuff." I say enthusiastic. Katniss looks at me with a 'serious?' Glance in her eyes.

"Yes i am serious! Sports are good for us!" I cheer. Katniss sighs. "Well if we're gonna do that, I want to learn English." She says.

"Come on get your lazy ass from that couch and get dressed! I'll ask Annie and Finnick if they want to join us!" I say smiling. I plant a kiss on Katniss forehead and walk to the garden. Finnick and Annie are in the swimming pool.

"Hey, I'm gonna do some sports with Katniss. Want to join?" I ask. But they only have an eye for each other. I scream it again but again, no reply.

I walk back inside and see that Katniss is ready. "Let's go." She says bored. We walk through the front door to the street.

"What are we going to do first boss?" She ask me. "Well maybe we could start running to the soccer field and then see what we do next." I suggest. She nods but I can see that she don't like it. I smile and we start running.

We're almost on the half of our way when Katniss stops. "Ughh Peeta, I can't go any further! My foot hurts like hell!" She nags. I start laughing. "hold on! We're almost there." I lie. She sighs but runs further.

"Peeta? Why are you not tired or sweating?" she asks. I think about that, i don't have a very good condition. And i sweat not really fast but after Some running I should.

"Maybe it is because when you were in the hospital I trained a lot to forget my pain a bit." I admit. Yeah I think it's that. "And I've always had a normal condition." I say.

"Do you have some water Peeta?" She says to change the subject because she doesn't want to talk about her coma.

"No you already drunk up everything." I chuckle. "Uh shut up" she says and hits me playfully on the arm.

I start with sweating but we have like 600 meters left, so I'm not going to stop, but Katniss.... She looks like she just run out a marathon. I slow down to walk next to her.

She starts to run slower every minute. At a moment she start to act like she has pain in her leg or something. I laugh and she stops. "Not funny." She says smiling. "What if I can't walk tomorrow?" She says sarcastic.

I pick her up bridal style. "Then I have to carry you like this all day." I say and smile. She smiles back but it disappears when I start running again.

"PEETA NO STOP I DON'T LIKE THIS I'LL RUN BY MYSELF" she scream. The soccerfield is just 100 meters away from here so I start sprinting.

"NO LET ME GO!! MY ANKLE DOESN'T HURT ANYMORE I CAN WALK ALOOONE!!" I let out a breathy laugh while Katniss keeps screaming.

"STOP NOW!" She screams and I do what she says. She didn't expect me to do that and thinks that the falls out of my arms. But she doesn't she still lays in my arms.

"Thanks! Can you put me down now." She says. I put her down and take her hand when we walk up the field. "You scared me." She chuckles. "No are you serious!" I say sarcastic. "You screamed your lungs out." I say. We chuckle and we walk to the goal.

I see a ball and take it. "You want to play?" I ask. "No not really. Just come sit next to me."

"I wanted to talk to you." She starts. "I've been working on a song lately and it's about you." I nod and smile, happy that it isn't something bad.

"But I need a refrain." I only have one sentence." She says staring at the ground. "Let me help you." I say and she starts to sing that one sentence.
