Katniss pov

Uncle Snow.... How could he survive the plane crash.... How did he stayed alive past years.... HOW DID HE EVEN COME IN HERE?!?!??!

I start to breath heavily again. 'Come on katniss, think. Uhm prim has the key, maybe she let him in. Yeah yeah that was it. Probably. '

I hear a knock on the door. Maybe it's snow. I run to the window and see that he's gone. I start to panick. He comes to get me! What am i going to do! If i yell peeta, he will kill me before peeta is here. I can hide myself! But where? I can't go into the wardrobe. And not in the bathroom.

'Think katniss think.' i say to myself. UNDERNEATH THE BED!! i run to my bed and crawl to the side. I slide under the bed and try to be as quiet as possible.

"Can i come in?" a familliar voice asks. I think it is peeta but i'm not sure. I don't say anything. I even don't want to breath.

The door opens and happily it is peeta. I sigh and come out from under the bed. I stand up and embrace peeta in a hug.

"Where did you come from?" he asks sursprised.

"From underneath the bed." i say looking away from him. I hope that he doesn't see that i have tears in my eyes. "Just go and sit down on the bed then i'll explain everything."

I walk to the closet and pick the roses out of it. I look at them and turn around.

"Years ago i had an uncle called uncle Snow. He loved white roses. He was a kind man until one day. He saw something on the news, and he went bad. First he stole little things, then bigger things, later he sold drugs and he kidnapped woman and girls. He had sex with them and starved them out until they werd dead. I heard my mom and him fight in the kitchen about that and i decided to call the police. When he heard thema he run away. We had one last call from him that he booked a flight and that he would come back. But his plane crashed in the middel of a big desert. Nobody survived it. But they bever found his body. They thought that it was burned, but it wasn't. He left this roses in my closet and stood outside."

I hand peeta the rose with the card on it. He reads it. And again. And again. He looks up at me with tears in his eyes. He looks worried. He stands up and walks to the window.

"He's gone peeta. But he knows were we live now. He will kill me peeta. I know it..." i say. Tears are streaming down my cheeks. I don't want to die. I want to see so much of the world and i want to start a career and maybe a family, maybe with peeta....

I start to cry. I feel some strong arms around me and a kiss on the top of my head.

"Heyyy, it's gonna be okay. You won't die, or will be raped or something." he says. I cry harder and peeta is still soothing me.

"I don't want to leave this world. I want to grow up and het my drivers License and lose my virginity and stuff. Just normal things in life that make it special." i turn around and cry info his chest. I can feel that he lifts his head up. He takes my head into his hands and make my look to him.

"Katniss we're gonna do it like this. You sleep tonight in my arms and if tour scared or something, just scream or wake me up and i'll help you . when you see him again, we go to the police and tell the story. And tomorrow morning i'll tell Annie and finnick about it so that they could help you to when you need it. Okay?" he says soft. This is an good option. We can't do really much so i nod.

This is gonna be the most horrible and long night in my entire life...
