Nathan:
Lily has gone to school for the last couple of weeks, which means I haven't either. I haven't left her side for one second, for the sake of us both.
I just can't, and she doesn't want me too. It fucking breaks me to see her like this. She's been crying and eating less, which means basically nothing.
Were currently watching tangled, lily laying on my chest. Holding onto my torso for dear life as Rapunzel's "mother" sends Flynn away.
I continue playing with her hair, I've been taking those online classes to learn how to braid. For both Zoe and Lily. Any excuse to play with her hair is an excuse I'll take.
"Nathan" lily's voice is quiet,
"Yes, love" her head lifts from my chest, her face is pale.
"I can't do this anymore" her eyes drop along with my heart. It feels as someone just punched me in the stomach.
"No not us, this. Letting myself go" her hand goes to my cheek, fuck. I'm pathetic.
No woman has ever had such an effect on me, no one. Except for her.
Lily young Harrison.
"Abuela would slap me if she saw me right now" she lets out a laugh,
I remember what abuela told me and kiss the top of lily's head.
"I need to get back into the game, I need to live" she lets out a breath, she lays her head back down onto my chest, meaning she can most likely hear my heart racing from her touch.
Shit.
I feel lily smile against my chest.
"You know what, we're going out tonight" she smiles, she raises from her laying position. She sits in between my legs.
"you're inviting me out" I raise an eyebrow, it feels good to get my girl back.
"Sure, am virgin boy" she smiles, a real smile. A beautiful smile, filled with love.
"We both know that isn't true" her cheeks turn a bright red color, making me smirk.
"First of all, I'm taking a shower" she stands from the bed,
"alone" she gives me a stern look.
I sit back down onto the bed. I said we did everything together. And I've been enjoying every fucking second.
"You shut up" she points her finger at me, and I let out a laugh which makes her smile.
I love the effect I have on her.
"I didn't say anything" I raise my hands in surrender.
"Oh yeah, every time I've said I was taking a shower you just so happened to say you were too" she raises a brow.
"You weren't complaining" I shrug. She looks away, in an attempt of hiding her blush but her ears are pink.
"Well, where are you taking me today" I ask as lily grabs one of my t-shirts and a pair of her pants. Mom insisted on making lily her own "mini" closet, I'm not complaining now she doesn't have an excuse to come over.
Zoe walks into the room, with a big smile on her face. She jumps onto the bed, hiding something behind her back.
"Guess what" she giggles, I turn to lily seeing her smiling like crazy. She knows something.
"What..." I ask unsure if I want to know, based on their smiles.
"I got a role in my schools play" she shoves a piece of paper in my face. I take it and begin reading it.
