Silent Screams

Hogwarts express

Josie's Pov:

1st September.

Kings Cross. That's where we were right now. Hagrid had already left us after giving us our Tickets and told us where to go. Even tho, he never told us where exactly to head to. And when we went to ask him, he was already gone.

Great.

Platform 9 3/4... where would that be? 

I looked over to Harry and saw that he was already looking at me with a confused expression. "So, let's go to Platform 9?" I asked, not sure what to do. He nodded and we went to find the Platform, where we should leave for our first year at Hogwarts.

"I'm not sure if we are at the right place," I said, looking around for a sign, that tells us where to go, but all I saw were way too many people who were rushing to get somewhere.
Then I spotted a guy with an owl. And when I looked closer there were more people with him. They had the same things with them, just like Harry and I. Every single one of them had red hair. They were probably a family I thought as I nudged Harry.

"Look!" I pointed towards them. "Maybe we could ask them for help," Harry smiled at me and immediately walked towards the redheads.

"Excuse me?" He started and the woman, who was scolding two young boys, who looked like twins turned around to look at us. "Oh, dear! You must be new to Hogwarts too! Ron is also a first-year," she said as she smiled brightly. I nodded and gave her a small smile.

"Can you tell us how to get to Platform 9 3/4?" I asked her while I played with the hem of my sweater.

"Yes of course dear! You just have to go through that wall over there," she explained. "Don't worry, you won't crash. Just make sure you go through fast enough," I inspected the wall closely as if I could see through it and wondered if I really would not crash.

Harry and I watched as the Twins went through it first. Fascinated I gasped when they just disappeared. This is so exciting!

Harry who was also watching with big eyes turned to me and gave me a big smile. I guess he was just as excited as I was. "Okay, your turn!" The woman who I just found out, was named Molly Weasley said softly.

I took a big breath and started running towards the wall. My eyes squinted together as I disappeared. When I opened my eyes again, I was in a different place. There were so many people. 

"That was crazy!" Harry beamed next to me.

I sat next to Harry right next to the window. Ron Weasley, who sat opposite me talked to Harry about all kinds of things. I'm glad he already found a friend. Whereas I just looked out the window and watched everything with wide eyes. 

I felt my eyelids grow heavier and heavier. And soon after I fell into a comfortable sleep.

"What do we have here?" 

I slowly opened my eyes, looking at what had woken me up. "I heard Harry Potter is here, so the rumors are true then," a boy around our age, with blonde hair and grey eyes said. His eyes darted to Ron who looked at the boy in disgust. "And you must be a Weasley," the boy looked at him up and down in disgust just as Ron looked at him.

"And who are you?" I asked him cocky. His eyes immediately met mine, as he came closer. "I'm Malfoy. Draco Malfoy," he stated proudly. "And you are..?" Draco asked as he tried to figure me out.
