Jenna POV

I shuddered hearing y/n whisper in my ear
'i'll see you later'
'come to my room'
'just you and me'
I could not wipe the cheesy smile off my face as I watched her walk out of the hotel. Not even a few minutes after however, I noticed Percy storm out of the lobby in pursuit, leaving me very confused.

Thinking nothing of it, I made my way back up to my room to get ready for my date later that day. Now I could choose not to go but that wouldn't go down well, so i'm braving it and I keep telling myself it's only for a few hours.

Thoughts in my mind kept drifting back to Percy and why he stormed out of the hotel so quickly. Not knowing about any possible answers I pushed the thoughts to the side as best I could and figured i'd get them later.

I was really hoping to talk with y/n about what happened last night. I wanted to admit everything on my mind. But unfortunately we got cut off due to her having to go to work so it'll just have to wait till tonight. Id be crazy if i didn't sneak a glance at her livestream interview, of course I was going to. Even if I was in Percy's company. He is not my focus.

"I heard you've got a date this afternoon" my mom speaks up as I walk into the room.

"please, don't call it a date mom. it is anything but that. i'm doing it to make them happy"
I roll my eyes and take a seat on the desk.

"how long are you going to keep this up Jenna? it's going to end up making you miserable." she questions me with a concerned tone of voice

"I don't know. I don't have answers for anything." I confess, swinging my legs back and forth then jumping down to walk over to the bathroom. Hoping a hot shower would bring my out of my head.

Putting the finishing touches to my very casual outfit, I grabbed my bag and headed for the door. All adidas everything, have to keep up for that brand deal. Simple black top and pants, with a white turtle neck underneath and my hair natural, I was not trying to impress him.

Upon arriving into the lobby I noticed my security standing with Percy. He has to come too? Lord this day is getting worse by the minute. I make my way over to them and Percy gives me a huge smile, that is returned by a tight lipped forced one from me.

"Wayne, with all due respect, do you really have to accompany us?" i question the buff man in the blue suit standing next to me.

"Sorry Jenna, orders. Don't worry, i'm not going to sit with you guys but i'll be around."

Rolling my eyes I look at Percy. "ready to go?"

He grabs my hand and pulls me out the lobby, Wayne trailing behind us.

"JENNA! PERCY! OVER HERE!"
"ARE YOU GUYS HAPPY? HOW IS THE RELATIONSHIP?"
"PERCY, IS JENNA CHEATING ON YOU?"

I feel him grip my hand tighter and wave to the paparazzi with his opposite one. I just kept my head down, hoping this day would be over already.

Wayne jumps in the drivers seat and Percy and I in the back. He is still holding my hand and I am frozen like an icicle not even thinking about the current moment.

"are you okay?" Percy questions rubbing the back of my hand with his thumb.

"yeah. i'm fine" I dont bother to look at him when answering instead keeping my gaze out the car window.

We arrive at a cafe, which felt appropriate considering how i'm dressed. Taken to a table near the back by a sweet girl who offers me a smile as she hands us the menus.
Percy pulls out my chair and I cringe internally at how hard he is trying for this fake relationship. On the outside I offer him that same tight lipped smile as before.
