Avengers: Incursion

We Do NOT Come in Peace

The clash between the Avengers and the Squadron Supreme was immediate and volatile. Power Princess, having vaulted off of the ramp, landed right on top of Tony, who rocketed backward. Righting herself with alarming ease, she rushed the armored Avenger, quickly catching up with him. Bucky took aim and fired on her and she simultaneously rushed Tony while blocking incoming fire with her invisible shield. Gripping Tony by the throat, she spun around, hurling the shield towards Bucky, who was able to duck thanks to the weapon being illuminated from absorbing the gunfire.

"Whizzer- take on the weaker ones," Power Princess roared as she slammed Tony into the ground.

"My pleasure," Whizzer chuckled before rushing forward and snatching Bucky's rifle. Holding it with his vibranium grip, he went wherever Whizzer pulled and was quickly swept up in the speedster's cyclone as he raced around the battlefield. He punched Clint, who was targeting Power Princess, then passed Sam and hurled Bucky into his chest. The momentum caused both heroes to be hurled away from the battlefield.

"Woah, lady," Tony grumbled. "I like it rough, but not that rough!"

Power Princess drew a fist back and slammed it into Tony's chest, drawing a surprised gasp from him.

Reed threw a punch, his arm extending outward in an effort to knock Power Princess off of him. Before it could connect, Whizzer snatched him by the wrist and pulled him. Reed watched in alarm as his elastic body was quickly tugged away from his target. Before he could catch up with what was happening, Whizzer was using his arm to clothesline Blackagar, Steve and Dean. The attack hit Steve, causing him to be knocked into a backflip from which he landed on his chest.

Lumen flickered, avoiding being stricken and crouched near Steve. "Get Kyle to safety," he shouted to Steve. "We'll handle them."

"The only thing you're handling is losing," Nightstar shouted before tossing a blast at Lumen's back. The attack caught him unaware and he was thrown over the dirt and against Steve just as he was hefting Aegis up.

Whizzer continued to pull Reed, eventually reaching Bruce, who he mistook for a civilian. Halting to a stop, he was suddenly caught off guard when Bruce quickly shifted into his Hulk persona. Towering over the speedster, he glared down at him and attempted to backhand him. Whizzer recovered from the shock of what he'd seen and dropped Reed to the floor before rushing Hulk. He attacked from every side, his nimble and rapid fists punching Hulk from every angle he could.

Dr. Spectrum took to the air and fired a ray of energy at Strange, who quickly rerouted the attack with a quickly- generated portal. Spectrum flew forward, intent on hitting the sorcerer, who merely spun aside and tossed an arcane blast at him. Activating his intangibility, Spectrum passed right through the attack and hit Strange with a cracking blow to the face. As the sorcerer was attempting to recover, Spectrum took aim at the heroes below.

Lumen caught sight of Spectrum targeting himself, Blackagar, Steve and Aegis. He rose to his feet and shoved Blackagar aside while Steve pulled Aegis in the opposite direction. The blast hit the earth, throwing all four of them up into the air.

While airborne, Blackagar fell prey to a precisely fired trip line from Nighthawk's gauntlet. Retracting the wire, Nighthawk popped up into the air and punched Blackagar hard on his nose. The attack caused Blackagar to grunt in pain and the shockwave that erupted from his mouth hit Nighthawk with considerable force, throwing him back to the ground. The tripwire, still attached to Blackagar, pulled the inhuman king down with him.

"Guys, this lady's giving me a hard time," Tony cried out as Power Princess grabbed him by the back of the head and flew low to the ground, dragging his armored face along and bashing it against every rock she could find. Finally they landed against a steep hill. Trapped on his stomach, Tony felt her fist strike his back.
