Kerrigans POV:

I walk towards his door ready to leave when suddenly Howl says

Howl: Kerrigan wait...

I rested my hand on the door handle before taking it off and approaching his bed again

Me: do you want some milk?

He shakes his head slowly again and I sit on a small stool next to his bed his eyes suddenly open as a small gasp escapes his lips

Howl: the witch of the waste is trying to find my castle..!

I gasp softly looking up at the shining rock before it stops

Me: I saw one of her henchmen at the harbor today!

He closes his eyes again

Howl: I'm such a big coward all I do is hide... And all of this magic is just to keep everyone away..! Now I can't even stand how scared I am.

He said turning his face away from me

Me: Howl if I may-.. Why IS the witch of the waste hunting you down..?

Killua: she was once quite beautiful so I tired to pursue her..! Then I realized she wasn't so I ran away... I can't run much longer i have to report to the palace as both Pendragon and Jenkins..!

Me: how many aliases do you have Howl??

Howl: as many as I need so I can keep my freedom...

Me: just refuse the kings invitation!

Howl: you see that..?

He points to a piece of parchment above us hanging on the wall with a knife a pair of scissors two darts and a pin with some sort of jewel on the end

Howl: that's the oath I took when I entered the royal sorcery academy... I must come to place whenever I'm summoned..!

Me: you know Howl-.. I think you should go visit the king!

His eyes widened and he looked towards me

Howl: what...?!

Me: ya know tell him what you think! And that war is just pointless and that you refuse to take part of it...

He sighed and turned his head back to the ceiling

Howl: you obviously don't know what these people are like.

Me: but he's our king... He should listen to what all of his citizens have to say..!

He gasps loudly and quickly sist up

Howl: I got it! You'll go to the palace for me??

Me: huh-?!

Howl: just say that your Pendragons mother and that your son is to much of a coward to show his face..! Maybe then Madame Suliman will finally give up on me!

Me: who's Madame Suliman??

He explained everything and I agreed to go my dress looked brand new and shiny I grabbed my hat and placed it on my head

Howl: your really going to wear that after I used my magic to make your dress look so pretty..?

Me: take care of him won't you Markl??

Calcifer: good luck..!

I heard Calcifer shout and I click the door to the red color on the dial suddenly Howl grabs my left hand and places a ring on my ring finger

Howl: this ring will guarantee your safe return...

I turn to face his emerald green eyes

Howl: don't worry..! I'll follow behind you in disguise.

I walk out of the door noticing my posture is even more straight and I'm skinnier now

Me: why do I feel like this isn't going to work..?

I ask myself looking at the ring on my hand and start to make my way towards the palace crows squawk at me as I pass by

Me: I wonder what Killuas disguised as... Surely not a crow.

I was now passing up a statue where pigeons land on the shoulders and head of the statue

Me: can't be a pigeon he's to flamboyant for that..!

I was getting close now when suddenly loud laughter from a girl is heard as a ship flies over my head and towards the palace

Me: that could be him...

I said with an annoyed voice and look back down towards some gates a whole entire crowed of people ahead of me

Me: look how far I still have to go..!

I mumble and pick up my pace just a little only to have a dog follow me he had dark brown and caramel fur white along his muzzle and doesn't chest I look behind me and down at him as I keep walking he walked beside me

Me: Howl? You disguised yourself as an old dog..?

A small raspy bark was all o heard and I groan a little

Me: you couldn't of thought of anything more useful?? Do you know how hard is it to do things when your old?

There was another small growl from the dogs throat as something passes us by its a hot pink cart and the shade is moved to the side I look towards and my face scrunches at the sight of the woman who made me like this

Elizabeth: look who's here..! The tacky little from the hat shop...

Me: the witch of the waste-..

I whisper and look ahead again

Elizabeth: thank you for handing my scorching love note to Howl..!

I look down at the dog next to me

Elizabeth: how's he doing by the way?

Me: he's acting like a big baby... And he's working me to the bone as his cleaning lady..!

She chuckled and said with some kind of tone of voice I didn't even want to define

Elizabeth: how delightful!

We walked in silence for a bit until she spoke again

Elizabeth: so tell me what kind of business do you have here at the palace..?

Me: looking for work I don't want to work for Howl anymore. And what about you??

Elizabeth: I received a royal invitation..! That idiot Suliman finally realized how much she needs my power...

Me: well if your so great maybe you could've broken the curse you put on me by now.

Elizabeth: sorry dear my talent lies in casting spells not breaking them..! Bye granny...

She says and closes the curtain

Me: now just wait a minute get back here!

I shout

Me: if I didn't have you to deal with I would've clobbered her..!
