Steven and Mery were sitting on a rock and Steven was singing.
Steven: ( singing: ) Hey Mr. Postman, bring us a post, bring us a post that we love the most.
Steven then stopped singing as Jamie the mailman appears.
Mery: Huh? ( Gasps and Steven gets excited ) Steven, your song came true!
Steven: ( to Jamie: ) Do you have a package for us today?!
Jamie: Hold on.
Jamie opens his mailbag.
Jamie: Let me see what I've got here. ( Takes out a peculiar package ) Did you order a loaf of bread with a stamp on it?
Steven: No.
Jamie: ( pulls out an envelope ) Did you order a jury summon for R.J. Finkle?
Mery: We're 12.
Steven: That's not us. We're Steven and Mery.
Jamie: Oh, right, right, right, Steven and Mery!
Jamie then pulled out two parcels.
Jamie: Here they are, Steven Universe and Mery Galaxy.
Steven: Ha! ( ecstatically: ) This thing is gonna help me save the world.
Jamie: ( to Steven: ) Really? It says it's from Wacky Sacks Supply Company.
Mery: Mine, is just something special for Centi.
Steven: Garnet, Amethyst, and Pearl think me and Mery shouldn't go on magic adventures because we don't know how to use our gem powers. And because Mery keeps trying to either keep the monsters we fight as pets or try to bring her pet along.
Mery playfully glared at Steven
Jamie: . . . That seems reasonable.
Steven: But there are other ways we can help.
Jamie: With a Wacky Sack? And a pet carrier?
Steven: Exactly!
Jamie: Do you know how you can save my world? ( Takes out two signature pads ) Sign here, please.
Mery writes her name and draws upside hearts and stars over it, while Steven wrote his name and draws stars over it.
Jamie: Barb yells at me if I don't get signatures.
Steven: That's awful.
Mery: My Dadda Rage says that you shouldn't yell at people, it's mean.
The beach house suddenly starts glowing from the inside.
Mery: The gems are back!
Mery and Steven grabbed the parcels and ran up the stairs to the house. Centi happily wagged the lower half of his body as he saw Mery from out the window. As soon as Steven and Mery entered the house, Centi ran to Mery with excitement, ignoring Steven.
