"I'm Sorry and I love you"(Last Part)

(Chifuyu POV)

I was playing with the twins when I looked at the time. "Y/n said she will be back by 6 and it's almost 7" I whisper thinking no one can hear me. "Don't worry, son. Y/n hasn't seen Kazutora in 12 years. Maybe she is being selfish and wanting to spend more time with him". I forgot that my father-in-law was here with me as well. I should get used to him by now. "You're probably right," I said while playing with Lucy. Lucien walked towards his grandfather. "Gadpa, gadpa up!" Lucien has a delay in speech, but we are doing our best for him. We even got a speech therapist for him, so he is slowly progressing.

"Of course my little one!" He lifted him and put him on his shoulder. "Are you sure you're okay doing that?" I asked him. He looked at me and smiled, "I'm not that old son" I laughed. It's not true. He is in his 50s already, but he looks like he is in his 30s. When I first met him I thought he was Sayuri's older brother, but that was her father. I was looking at my father-in-law and Lucien laughing and playing. It reminds me of Y/n. Now that I'm getting a better view, Y/n and Lucien look just like her father/grandpa. Both Y/n and him have long black hair, he has his in a simple ponytail and Lucien hair is still growing, they also have those beautiful clear blue eyes that I fell in love with.

"Papa I want to be carried too" I looked down and saw Lucy pulling my pants trying to get my attention. She looks just like me. Black hair and green/blue eyes. It's like looking at a mini me. I grabbed her and also gave her attention.

As I put the kids asleep in their room I went to the kitchen and made myself a chamomile tea. "Do you want coffee or tea?" I asked my father-in-law. "Coffee please and thank you" I nodded and started making coffee and tea. I look at the time and see that it was already 9. "She must be having a good time. That's good. She always told me all the fun places she plans on taking Kazutora ones he released."

"Yup" I looked up and saw my father-in-law sitting at the kitchen counter. "She really missed Kazutora and I can't blame her. I miss him too. He is just like a son to me. Even after everything he has done I will still welcome him with open arms. He became part of my family just like you son" he said looking at me. I smiled.

He is right. The bond between Kazutora and Y/n is strong. They are like platonic soulmates while Y/n and I are real soulmates. I looked at my ring and smiled. I kissed it "I love her I don't know what I'll do without her".

"You are going to prioritize your children. If something were to happen to her" I looked at him and nodded. "Of course. They are my everything. My family is always my number one priority"

..........The phone rang. I went to pick it up. As I answered I got the worst news in my entire life. One I never wanted to receive at all.

"Hello, is this Matsuno Chifuyu, husband of Matsuno Y/N?"

"Yes, speaking"

"This is the **** hospital and we have terrible news and it involves your wife. Please come to **** as fast as you can"

"What happened to her!" I yelled startlingly at my father-in-law. "Do you want me to tell you now or when you arrive?" I thought about it for a second and said, "I'll be there" and hung up the phone.

"What happened! Chifuyu! What happened to my daughter!" I couldn't answer my father-in-law. All I did say was, "Start the car. I'll get the twins we need to go now!". He listened and started the car. I went to the twins room and I carried both of them not wanting to wake them up.

We made it to the hospital. The twins woke up when the cold hit them. My father-in-law grabbed the twin's hands while walking quickly to the hospital while I ran there. "Please! Oh God please! Don't let it be what I think it is! And if it is, please at least let my baby still be safe! She probably wants him to survive! Please God!" I whispered.
