"That's not how you do it."

Goodness gracious. I think I'll grow white hair because of stress. I will never wish for a child again. Though Oren is far from being a kid, he still acts like it! If having a child means constantly guiding them and getting annoyed in the end. Then fine, no child for me.

"What do you mean?" He asked, holding a white shirt among the colored ones.

I assigned him to wash the clothes since I'll do the rest. And also because I'll do anything other than washing clothes. I'm not sure if it's fate but it's the timing that the washing machine is broken now he has to do it with hands.

And I forgot to remind him not to mix the colored with white. Now I can see the water turning red.

My hand reached my temple to massage it. Give me more strength to surpass these trials.

"Why?" Oren seems to realize that he's doing something not right.

"You shouldn't mix the colors." I let out a sigh. As if I could save those poor clothes. I sighed again. "It's fine. Just… just go continue."

To not damage the rest of the clothes that he doesn't touch yet, I helped him. Helping him will lessen the problem, because he will ruin everything he touches.

After we finished the general cleaning and I swear to never take my eyes off him especially on times like he would do a not so good thing, I decided to buy groceries together with Oren. Hell might meet heaven if I leave him alone.

"You love calories, don't you?" I said when I noticed he continuously put fries, patty and junk foods in his cart.

"I do," he answered, full smile.

I rolled my eyes and pushed my cart to the other section.

"Oh, it's the tampon you're using." Oren said behind me.

I turned my head and saw him holding a pack of tampons. My cheeks instantly heated. I marched toward him, snatched the pack on his hand to put it back, and grabbed his hand to walk with me.

"You don't just announce something like that."

"You're embarrassed? You're a girl, it's normal."

We stopped on our tracks so I could glare at him. "What if I did that but with your boxer? Like, I'll just casually show everyone what you're using."

Oren shrugged it off. "And? It's not like you're telling something not true."

I groaned in annoyance. "You don't understand." Boys always will.

He put his palm on my cheeks. "Make me understand, Cuppycake."

I sighed my frustrations. I know for sure that he wouldn't understand. I'll just stress myself out. So, I didn't say a word and dragged him again.

We're currently in the aisle with the notebook, color and such. Oren said that he wants to buy a coloring book to lessen his boredom at home. I was just skimming through things when I stopped in front of the canvases.

I felt a pang of pain as I touched the side of the canvas in front. The texture of it made me want to cry. I miss the little and naïve me revolving around her world within this material.

"Hey, gumdrop." Oren suddenly showing up startled me. I turned my head to him and saw him holding a coloring book and a box of I think a set of different types of colors.

"What?" I try so hard not to sound strain.

"Do you know where's the perya here?"

My forehead creased when I noticed how he stared in my eyes as if he knows some I don't.

"Perya? Yeah, why?"

A smile spread to his lips. "Can we go there?" He sounds like a kid requesting his mom.

"No." I said then turned my back on him. But as soon as I did that, I heard his pleading voice that I know will not end until I agree. "Fine." We can't argue all the time, can we?

We dropped off our groceries at my house first before going to the carnival. The place is already packed. Set of families, couples and teens were crowding every booth.

Oren pulled in one of the booths where people threw one peso coin on a table-like with written numbers and various gifts. The coin must not touch the black line to win.

"Give me coins." Oren opened his palms at me with a full smiled face.

I sighed and gave him a ten piece peso coin. Oren immediately throws one coin. He put so much pressure that it rolled exactly on the box together with the other coin. He played there until I ran out of coins.

"I didn't even get a toy." He's sulking.

"That's fine. It's part of growing up."

I saw a photobooth and brought him there to get his mind off from failing. We did it fast since there's waiting next to us. We're laughing at our photo. It's all wacky.

"We're so cute." I commented, looking at the one where we're wearing sunglasses and a wig.

"Yeah, we look good together." Oren wiggle his brow at his joke.

I rolled my eyes on him. "We look good but not together."

Oren protested but I ignored him then went to another booth. I think we've tried all the booths and rides we're so tired so we decided to end our night in the ferris wheel.

"I'm so exhausted." Oren murmured as soon as our ass landed on the seat.

I didn't respond and just closed my eyes. A second had passed, Oren is quiet and Oren plus the word quiet is not a good combination so I opened my eyes just to catch him staring at me.

I stiffened when he palmed my cheeks, halting me from moving. "Have I ever told you how beautiful you are, teddy bear?"

My eyes unconsciously rolled because of his absorbed endearment. It ruined the mood. Really. I tapped his hand away and I moved away as soon as it began going up.

"Look! They're so small up here!"

I exhale discreetly the breath I didn't know I was holding. Oren moved to sit on the seat in front of me to look at the other side. And he seems to like the lights from the city more.

I can see his face well while he's gazing down there. He has this happy face with amusement in it.

It may sound cliché to say but the way he glee in happiness flutters me. It was as if an honor to make him thrilled. Like at this very moment, everything feels just right.

I can't help but think of the certain emotions Oren has been making me feel these days.

I let out a breath and looked outside the sky. He's making me like him.
