A Clato love story

Chapter 1

Hi everyone who is reading this. This story is about Cato and clove(it's a fanfic so none of these things happened in the book or movies sadly) peeta and katniss are not in it and ALL RIGHTS BELONG TO HUNGER GAMES AND SUZANNE COLLINS okay let's begin

Cloves pov
Today will be my first day of training since I was picked to be a volunteer for the 74th hunger games.. the 73rd one just ended so I have a whole year to get ready! I am great with knives and almost every other weapon but especially knives. I wonder who my district partner will be hopefully not some idiot.
Anyways I have to move in with favian our trainer and my district partner favian lives in a mansion and practically raised me so I know my way there.

As I near the doorstep the door suddenly opens " clove your finally here! Your district partner is already here."As I walk in I see a tall blonde boy sitting in the couch

"I'm going to go for a walk you two get to know each other" favian says with a smile as he walks out the door. The boy gets up and comes to shake my hand. He looks sort of familiar..

"Cato. Cato Hadley" he says while offering his hand
Hesitant I shake his hand "I'm clove kentwell" Cato, oh yeah I heard about him in school apparently he's this playboy. Wait...I punched him out one time for calling me shorty. I admit he is at least a foot taller then me.
"Wait you punched me one time!" He shouts "We'll you did call me shorty so" I say smugly not even regretting what I did "you are short but..." as he looks me up and down " you are cute clover"
"Ugh I don't like being called clover!" I go closer to him with a threatening look

"Ok clovely" he winks
Ughhhh I don't like nicknames
"Shouldn't you be with your new girl of the week?" I say smugly  "Hmm I think I just found her " he smirks and walks upstairs

I walk upstairs to find my room
Since Favians house is so big I was just wandering around looking for my room
I suddenly opened the door and see Cato shirtless
"Oh my god!! Could you maybe put on a shirt!" I say as I close my eyes and turn around
I can feel him smirking

"Are you decent?!" I shout
"Yea clover you can turn around now" I turn around and am suddenly met with his chest I look up and see that he's really close to me. I jump away from him quickly
"I was wondering if you knew where my room was?" I say awkwardly
"Oh yea clover favian showed me" he answers
He escorted me to my giant room
"Wow maybe I might just sleep in this room with you" he says while smirking.
"In your dreams dummy now can you get out i need to change" I say
"I mean you already got a show only fair I get one" he winks and I close the door in his face
"Alright then clover" he says while walking downstairs

At night when favian is back he sits us both down to talk
"We will start training tomorrow, it starts at 8:00 to 3:00. You two will mostly be training with each other but I will check in once in a while. The training center is in the beginning of the forest across the street from my house it's about a fifteen minute walk from here so you have no excuse to be late. You guys get Saturday and Sunday off to do whatever you want but your schooling will be put on hold for the year" I listen closely to the rules he puts in place although I know they are mostly for that dummy an attractive dummy but a dummy no less.
After that we go to sleep and all I think about is getting to train tomorrow. I'm so excited.
