A Clato love story

Chapter 10

It's Saturday morning
Cloves pov
I wake up next to Cato and wake him up as we have to start getting ready I'm meeting his parents today
"Cato wake up we've got to get ready"
"Mmm babe we still have 2 hours"
"We actually have 1 hour dummy"
"Oh god!!we have to hurry!" He shouts
I already have a nice casual dress on and put my hair down
"You look amazing clover" he says while we walk to their house in victors village
We knock on the door
"Oh clove you are so beautiful as Cato says you are!" This nice woman must be his mother they look very alike
Once I get in a little girl hugs my leg
"Oh hi your adorable" i say
"Scarlett let go of my girlfriend!"
"Hi Scarlett your extremely cute"
The little girl smiles at me and runs away I look around the hugs house same size as favians
As we eat dinner Catos mother asks "so clove where'd you meet my son?"
"Oh i met him when I moved into Favians place im his district partner for the games"
Her face immediately goes down
" how unfortunate" she says
Cato puts his hand on my thigh giving me a reassuring look
When we are home I am saddened when I remember that we will have to go into the hunger games together. I want Cato to win he has more to come back to.
We turn to each other
"Cato.."
"Clover.." we say these things at the same time
"You go first" I offer
"About what my mom said you know I would never hurt you right? And that..I want you to win"
"Cato..please I want you to win you have to much to come back to."
"How bout this we deal with this when everyone else is dead then we'll work something out...together okay?" I can't live without you"
We say we love each other and go to bed but the reaping is on Monday and we both have to volunteer there's no getting out of this..I get teary eyed but I don't cry cus if do he'll comfort me and that'll just force him to think about it more. I guess we'll deal with it when we deal with it..
