Chapter 2

Cloves pov

I finally wake up and quickly get ready by the time I am walking it is 7:40
I hear someone running behind me and pull out a knife but don't turn around.
"Well good morning clover next time maybe wait for me" Cato says "why should I" I say as I roll my eyes
Cato sighs "you know I'd really like to be friends if you'd give me the chance"
"I wouldn't have a problem with you that but I know you'd kill me in the arena once most people are dead" I say coldly
"My offers always there.." Cato says with a less perked up voice
Once we get there favian greets us and let's us go in but after he shows us the basics Cato seems to get cocky
"You need help shorty?" He said smirking
"I don't need help from you" i say as I glare at him he gets very visibly angry
"You two on the mat I want you to spar" favian says suddenly
Cato smirks at me as he takes his shirt off expecting me to get distracted but instead I smirk back and take off my shirt revealing a sports bra and he gets even more distracted
"1..2..3..fight!" Favian yells
I swing at him only for him to dodge it but I quickly run towards where he is. As I am smaller it's harder to catch me so he had a hard time and I sweep his leg and bend down but before I could say anything he pins me to the mat "don't taunt your opponent to much clovely" he says with a wink
I knee him in the stomach and as he rolls over I get on top of him, I sit on him and say "game over" with a smirk
Favian yells "time! Good job clove good strategy using your size as an advantage" he then walks out
After he leaves I realize I'm still in Cato "oh sorry" I say as I get up
He chuckles "we will have a rematch" he winks
I see him slice multiple dummy's with a sword the sword is something I'm weak in.. I didn't notice I was staring
"Impressed sweetheart?" He chuckles
"Ha! You wish but I um could use some work when it comes to sword so I was wondering if you'd teach me" I said shyly
"Sure sweetheart but we'll do that tomorrow since it's already three"
"Thanks and don't call me sweetheart" I say
"Then it's back to clover" Cato says excited
I roll my eyes and we walk home in silence

As I climb into bed I think about how I liked how Cato called me sweetheart. God stupid emotions such a setback I don't feel anything for Cato I don't feel anything for Cato!! Or do I..
