Chapter 11

It's reaping day
Cloves pov

Crystal key comes up to the stage and plays the hunger games film and picks a name from the girls
"Sarah miller"
"I volunteer" I shout and climb up the stage
"Boys turn" she says excitedly I hope that he doesn't volunteer...
"Cato Hadley" he walks up proudly and looks at me I smile at him
"Shake hands" crystal says
We shake hands and as his hand leaves mine I can almost feel him trying to hold on but we can't in front of all these people
Crystal yells "ladies and gentlemen we have our tributes for the 74th hunger games! Clove kentwell and Cato Hadley!!"
We say our goodbyes and go into the train and meet our mentors enobaria and Brutus
They both greet us and tell us the basic rules of the hunger games.
Enobaria says "so what are you twos skills"
"I'm good with knives and almost every other weapon except for the bow" I reply
"And hand to hand combat" Cato adds I look at him with wide eyes
"Did you guys know each other before reaping" enobaria asks
We both stutter as we remember that favian told us we have to keep our relationship a secret from them
"Ohh they have that training program for district partners remember so they probably have trained together for the past year" Brutus says saving our asses
"Ok Cato what are your skills" Brutus asks
"I'm good with a sword a spear and hand to hand combat I am also very strong" Cato replies
When we are dismissed I go into my bag and get Catos hoodie and put it on since it was pretty cold in the capitol and he smiles when he sees me wearing it
We get there after about 30 minutes and they show us to our rooms
I go into Catos room and immediately hug him
"Hey clover" he sighs
"I know your probably very nervous how bout you sleep in my room?"
"Ok but I'll need to sneak in we can't let them know we're together"
At night I sneak into Catos room
"Cato?" I whisper suddenly I feel Cato pin me to the wall and kiss me as we go on he deepens the kiss and then starts kissing my neck
I let a small moan escape my mouth
Cato rips off my clothes and I take his off he pins me to the bed and
I'm not going into it anymore unless y'all want me too if so I will include that stuff but for now you know what happened.
