Midnight Love

Road trip

The three of them get into the car heading for the Avengers Compound. Y/N and Nat in the front with Yelena in the back, much to her annoyance. 

"I still don't get why he gets to be in the front."

"He's the guest."

Y/N chuckles as the sisters start fighting. He smiles at Natasha as she drives which she notices making her glance at him. 

"What?"

"I didn't say anything."

"You're staring."

"Well you are very beautiful so I can't help it."

She blushes as he smiles softly at her. It would be a three hour drive so they all agreed to drive for an hour. Y/N looks out the window hoping he is right and hoping he can get home but he'd be okay with never going back if it means he got more time with Natasha.

Natasha glances at him which Yelena notices. Neither of the women want Y/N to go back, they like having him back even if he isn't really their Y/N but they know he will have to return eventually which is why they agreed to help him. 

After the first hour, they stop in a garage. He puts gas in the car while they go inside to get snacks for the road. 

"You don't want him to go do you?"

Natasha looks at her sister as they enter the store. 

"No but you don't either. It feels like we've gotten a second chance here Yelena, he looks and acts exactly like our Y/N. The only difference is the you know."

The other people in the store look at them oddly as they keep looking for snacks.

"And when he leaves?"

Natasha sighs and opens her mouth to reply only to stop when they hear him call out for them.

"Over here Y/N."

He walks over to them with a smile. 

"Find any good snacks? I did."

They look at the handful of snacks in his arms making them laugh. 

"We found a few."

"Take your time."

He smiles and follows them around as they all pick out more snacks before he pays for the snacks and gas before they leave, Y/N driving this time with Yelena still in the back. 

Yelena watches the two of them laughing and joking just like Nat use to do with their Y/N. She knows how her sister is feeling because she feels the same way, it's good having him back but there is still the fact that he will eventually have to return to his universe. 

"Yelena?"

She looks up at the sound of her name.

"Yeah?"

"I was asking if you're okay back there."

"Yeah I'm good thanks Y/N."

"No problem. Why don't we play a game of I Spy?"

The women laugh as he smiles happily.

"Really Y/N? I Spy?"

"It'll be fun."

They agree to play the game, enjoying hearing the ridiculous things Y/N comes up and his laughs when he told them what it was. 

They stop after another hour, switching over after a bathroom break. Yelena driving and Nat in the back. 

Yelena and Y/N start belting out songs like she did with their Y/N as Natasha laughs watching them before joining in. 

They pull up to the Avengers Compound and Y/N looks at it confused. They park in the garage before getting out.
