Multiverse Demons

"Y/N please stop, the multiverse isn't real."

"But hear me out Natty, what if our dreams are not dreams but a window into our other lives?"

"Y/N baby, you're sleep deprived go to sleep."

Nat takes a notebook from her husband putting it in the drawer as the two of them fall asleep cuddled up together.

Nat sits up rubbing her eyes after having a dream about her husband, the conversation they had two nights before he died. 

She has been dreaming more about him ever since Y/N from Earth-120703 left. Just when she thought they could be together, he had to go home. 

"Nat, come on you've been in your room since he left."

She gets up from her bed walking out to her sister. 

"I miss him too but he wouldn't want this."

"He said he'd find a way back."

"I bet he is trying very hard to get here."

Meanwhile with Y/N, he turns on a switch but once again nothing happens. He screams angrily before kicking the machine hurting his foot.

"OW FUCKING BASTARD! JUST WORK!!!!!"

"Y/N..."

"I just wanna see them again...."

Y/N sits on the floor crying. Before Midnight can respond, the door opens and two people walk inside. 

"Y/N, we need your help."

Y/N looks up at Stephen Strange and America Chavez. 

"With what?"

"Well-"

A tentacle breaks through the glass of Y/N's garage. He grabs the two running outside before Stephen gets ahead, Y/N keeping a hold of America's hand. 

 As all three of them run away from the demon, Stephen catches Y/N up on what is happening. The three of them find themselves in a mysterious void, full of various colours and weird lines. 

On one of the lines, Y/N Brock, Defender Stephen Strange and America Chavez are running as they try their best to escape the demon chasing them. Defender Strange turns to his opponent casting a spell that freezes him temporarily. 

"Did it kill it?"

"No! We'll kill it with this!"

On a spinning pedestal, a book glows magical on it floating in the middle of the ether. 

"The Book of Vishanti!"

"We can't let it get your power. Get to the book."

"How do we get across?"

"Jump!"

All three of them, Y/N grabbing America so he takes the force of their landing. They get up running as Defender Strange tries to hold off the demon.

"It's too strong. I can't hold it."

Defender Strange then starts taking America's powers away from her.

"I'm so sorry. This is the only way."

"STRANGE! STOP YOU'LL KILL HER!"

"What are you doing?!"

"We can't let that thing take your power. You can't control it. But I can."

"But we're friends!"

"I know. But in the grand calculus of the Multiverse, your sacrifice is worth more than your life."
