Midnight Love

Witch vs Symbiote

Natasha, Yelena, Christine and Stephen find themselves in another universe, that has been destroyed by an incursion. 

They find the Doctor Strange from this universe where the two Stephens fight using music notes, before Stephen dream walks, using the dead body they buried on Earth 616. 

Wanda ends up beating Wong and the dreamwalking Strange before fighting with America who opens a portal to the others, starting a battle between them all.

Meanwhile with Y/N and Midnight, Y/N is putting the last few touches on his Multiverse machine with the help of some lab techs. 

Y/N looks at his machine holding a button as he takes a deep breath. Midnight appears out of his shoulder as he looks at his host.

"Are you ready?"

"Let's hope this works."

Y/N presses the button and the machine whirs to life as he lets out an ecstatic laugh throwing his hands in the air.

"WE DID IT!"

"About time. Now go save your girls."

Y/N types in Nat's name and the portal opens, Y/N's face dropping at the scene. Natasha, Yelena, Wong, Christine and Stephen lay beaten on the concrete.

Wanda stands behind America about to take her powers. Y/N wouldn't let that happen, he made a promise to protect her.

Midnight takes over, grabbing Wanda and flinging her back before jumping the portal, landing over America. 

"Did I miss the party?"

"I killed you!"

"No body, no crime. Healing symbiote powers, no death."

Wanda lets out a growl before Y/N and Wanda engage in another fight, America rushing to check on everyone but mostly Nat.

Midnight lands a punch across Wanda's face and she spits the blood before throwing him across the area.

He stops himself using Midnight, who grabs onto the ceiling stopping them before he drops down again.

"Is that all you got witchy?!"

"I'm going to enjoy killing you!"

She uses her powers to tackle him from the ceiling, both of landing roughly and rolling. Y/N gets up again, Midnight taking over as they start to trade blows. 

Neither of them seem to be winning until Wanda gets an idea. She throws some rubble in the direction of Nat, Yelena and America. 

Midnight stops it but leaves himself open, Wanda knocking him towards the edge. America takes Y/N's place but she is struggling.

"Trust yourself, trust your power!"

America listens to Y/N, using her powers to open a cliff with lava at the bottom, trying to knock Wanda in. 

Wanda pushes her back when America gets an idea. She looks at Y/N and he nods, knowing what she plans on doing as he sits up. 

As Wanda holds America by her neck, she hears screams behind her followed by voices, two familiar voices. 

Billy and Tommy run away from her terrified as she tries to approach them, before she realises just how much of a monster she has become.

Y/N checks on everyone looking at Wanda as the portal closes. He nods at her, opening a portal using his device to return home. 

"You know what you have to do Wanda."

"Yeah...I opened the Darkhold. I have to close it. No one will ever be tempted by the Darkhold again."

Natasha walks up to Wanda hugging her, Yelena joins in after a few minutes. Y/N puts his arm around America, pulling her into him.

"I'll miss you Wanda."

"It wish it never came to all this Wands."

"I'm sorry for everything both of you."

Wanda looks past the girls to Y/N as he kisses America's head, Stephen and Wong disappearing back to Kamar-Taj. 

"At least one of us gets their happy ending."

Nat and Yelena look back at Y/N who smiles at them. They say their goodbyes, following Y/N into his portal as Wanda pulls everything down on top of herself. 

~TWO YEARS LATER~ 

Natasha and Yelena walk outside carrying trays as the other Avengers and their lovers sit around a large table, laughing and drinking. 

A car pulls up out front and two people step out before heading into the back with smiles on their faces.

The man walks over to Natasha taking the tray with a smile and kissing her softly as the girl sits down beside Yelena. 

"Hey honey. Did you and America have fun?"

"Yeah, her training is coming along great."

America chuckles as the two of them sit down. 

"Dad slipped coming out of the building."

Natasha, Yelena and America laugh as Y/N groans. Natasha smiles opening her mouth to speak when Louise, Thor's girlfriend interrupts. 

"So Nat when's the wedding?"

"Two months from now, just after America's adoption is finalised."

"One big happy family then."

They all chuckle when Y/N stands up with his glass, clinking it. Everyone turns to look at him as he smiles.

"I'd like to raise a toast, to one of us who should be here. To Wanda."

"To Wanda!"

Everyone clinks their glasses as Y/N sits back down beside Nat before she rubs his back with a smile.

"That was nice of you."

"She should be here, even after everything."

"So sweet."

The two of them kiss with smiles on their faces and Natasha lays her head on Y/N's shoulder.

"Guess there's no midnight striking on our love anytime soon."

"No I guess not."

They smile at each other, Y/N looking around the table. He's happy to finally get a family, one he finally gets to keep.
