On the front porch of the house Mitch pulled me to said to men at a table playing cards. "Oh hello Mitch!", said one of them as he noticed us. He had long brown hair and a bushy beard in the same color. Both had grey streaks throughout. The other guy, a small round man in a hawaii shirt, looked up from his card deck, took a sip out of a can of Diet Coke and said in a grumpy tone; "back already?" Mitch seemed nervous. "Er yes, Mr.D", he said, "we ran into some problems!" "That's alright!", the other man said as he turned to us. That moment I realized he was in a wheelchair. "Were you hurt?" "No, sir!", I responded. "You must have a lot of questions!" I nodded. "Well first", he started to explain, "my name is Chiron and this is Mr D!" He pointed to the man next to him. Chiron explained to me, that I was the child of a Greek god and that it was normal for demigods to be attacked by monsters. "This is Camp Half-Blood. A place were kids like you are safe from monsters and can learn to fight!" "Mitch! Would you mind showing her around?" "Of course not!", my friend responded and stepped of the porch signaling me to follow him.
