"Alright, Alyssa", Luke said as we entered the wooden Greek-styled cabin he led me to, "Is there anything you're especially good at?" "Uhm, I don't know!", I responded, "I was student paramedic at one of my schools for a while! The teachers said that I did a really good job with that!" "Hm. Okay!", Luke seemed to be thinking about something. "Maybe you'll be claimed later today!" I started looking around the room now. The Hermes cabin was filled with beds and sleeping bags. There were kids sittting on the floor talking and playing cards or board games everywhere. "It's really stuffed here!", I said. Luke responded: "Yeah, I know! The Hermes Cabin takes everyone who hasn't been claimed. 'Cause our dad is the god of travelers and all." "Well, you better make yourself comfortable! Who knows how long it'll be till you get claimed!" I chose an empty sleeping bag on the floor and did as Luke told me. I joined in some card games with the other kids.

"Wow", said one of the boys I was playing with, "You're really good at this! You totally beat me, and I normaly win every game." "No, you don't Conner!", exclaimed the boy next to him. "You just cheat all the time!" The boys could have been twins as much as they looked alike. "Shut up, Travis! She would've believed me!", replied the first. "Not really", I interweined, "Sorry!" "Whatever", he sighed, "I'm Conner and this is Travis!" "Alyssa", I responded. "Who's your godly parent?", Travis asked me. "I... don't know!" "Oh okay" "That's no Problem", Conner said suddenly, "It took two years in Camp for Hermes to claim us two! But maybe you're lucky and get claimed at the campfire tonight!" "Or at Dinner", Travis added.
