It was an early morning, and the smell of coffee is what woke Ciekawski Kot. He sat up and looked around, his eyes settling on Złośliwy Lis who was busy at the stove. He rubbed his eyes and slowly stood up before folding up the sheet and blanket. He then headed to the kitchen noticing that Złośliwy Lis glanced sideways at him for a brief moment before turning his attention back to the stove.

"What's all this?"

"Well, I figured I would continue being a good host and fix breakfast. It's up to you if you want some."

"Actually, I would. Especially since I woke up this morning."

"Well of course you woke up. I told you for now I don't plan on killing you."

Ciekawski Kot snorted as he inhaled the smell of bacon and eggs. "Yeah. Well, that could change. What if I had horrible habits that you can't stand?"

Złośliwy Lis held up a piece of bacon, turning his back to the stove. "I highly doubt that'll be a problem." Ciekawski Kot swallowed nervously and reached for the piece of bacon. Złośliwy Lis teasingly pulled it back, not letting him grab it and making Ciekawski Kot end up a bit closer though that didn't seem to be the plan because Złośliwy Lis's eyes went comically wide for a moment at how close they were. "Here." Ciekawski Kot took the piece of bacon, unsure what to make of Złośliwy Lis's reaction to his closeness.

They ate their breakfast in relative silence and Ciekawski Kot was in seventh heaven. Who knew that a simple breakfast of bacon, eggs and toast could taste so amazing.

"Thanks for fixing breakfast."

"You're welcome. I need to get dressed. So just leave the dishes and I'll do them later. I'll grab you something to wear for later but while at the office I'll need you to shift." Ciekawski Kot figured that was coming because he knew Złośliwy Lis couldn't just give some random reason as to why he was there. He nodded as Złośliwy Lis left to get dressed and turned his attention to the dishes. He decided he could help out a little and set to work washing the dishes.

Złośliwy Lis grabbed out a green button up shirt, black boxer briefs, black dress pants, a black vest, a black suit jacket and a white tie. He quickly changed into the outfit after shucking his pajamas. He looked at himself in the mirror, his mind wandering to Ciekawski Kot and the reaction he'd had to him. He needed to keep his distance until he had a better grasp on the situation. He grabbed his wallet, keys, phone and watch, fastening it to his wrist before leaving his bedroom and making his way back to the kitchen.

"Are you...?"

"Yes? You're being a gracious host to give me a place to sleep and fixing me breakfast. Not to mention not killing me. Washing the dishes is the least I can do."

"Wow. Look at us. We've come so far." Ciekawski Kot rolled his eyes and after he finished drying the dishes, he dried his hand on a towel before shifting and looking up at Złośliwy Lis. "You know you really are an adorable cat." Ciekawski Kot purred, surprised at the compliment. "Too bad you're not an adorable man." Just like that the purr stopped and he frowned. Złośliwy Lis snickered before leading the way to the elevator. They rode it down, got into the waiting car and headed back to the building.

Ciekawski Kot curled up on the arm of the couch while Złośliwy Lis took a seat at his desk and the two of them exchanged a look before there was a knock at the door. "Come in, Scott." Ciekawski Kot tilted his head wondering how Złośliwy Lis just knew who it was. Scott opened the door and walked in with Isaac in tow. "Oh lovely. What can I do for you two?"
