Stiles strolled purposefully into the VIP elevator for Lunar Bytes and pressed the L button for the lobby. When he exited, he put on the full Złośliwy Lis act and greeted people.

"Good Morning Mr. Lis. I wasn't aware you'd be arriving this morning."

"Yes. Well, I think it's always good to surprise you every now and then. I have to keep my employees on their toes after all."

The blonde fiddled with her hair and bit her lip. "Of course, you do. Well, I'll be here if you need...anything."

Złośliwy Lis nodded politely and turned to head into the security offices, sliding an ID card through the scanner along with scanning his fingerprint. He took a deep breath as the door closed behind him. This would prove to be the trickiest and most dangerous part if anything went wrong. He stepped onto the observation deck and felt the thrumming of his magic under his skin begin to sizzle as he stepped back slowly. He watched as atoms split in two one by one to ensure that Złośliwy Lis stayed on the observation deck and Mieczyslaw headed down the steps to an armed door where he slid a different ID badge.

As the light changed to green, he opened the door and stepped through without a backwards glance. He had to work fast, and his hand went to his pocket to ensure the small case was still there before passing through the rows of hard drives and computer systems to a desk caged in against the back wall. He felt a wave of nostalgia as he pulled out a key and opened the gate stepping inside before locking the gate behind him. He took a seat at the desk and pulled the case out. He cracked his knuckles, checked the time on his watch and got to work entering into the program through an identical back door in the security system.

Derek wasn't sure what to do with himself all day while Stiles was gone doing whatever he was doing. He started by tidying up the penthouse which meant laundry, dishes, and the like. Oddly enough he felt like he should've hated staying home and being so domestic but because it was Stiles, he knew he would do it again and again for the rest of his life. That was a scary thought, but it was nevertheless true. He had since gained the ability to use the computer and spent a couple hours deciding on the perfect recipe for dinner.

He had everything ready by the time Stiles should've arrived home. The only problem was Stiles wasn't home and the elevator gave no indication that he was there. Derek wasn't worried at first because there could be any number of reasons as to his being late, but when a few minutes became a half hour and then a half hour became an hour, Derek was worried. He began pacing in the living room, the food completely forgotten in favor of focusing solely on the love of his life. Derek paused because was that what Stiles was? Was it too soon to call Stiles the love of his life? Derek began pacing again only stopping when he heard the distinct sound of the elevator. He practically ran over to it and then shifted.

As soon as the door opened, he jumped up and clung to Stiles's shirt. Stiles's eyes were wide as he chuckled and wrapped his arms around him. "Missed you too. Sorry I was late."

Derek purred and flicked his tail to display his annoyance but nuzzled his head against Stiles's cheek to show his acceptance of the apology.

Stiles kicked off his shoes and carried Derek over to the couch. By the time they sat down Stiles was back to the adorable man he loved. Back to the dark brown hair, the whiskey amber melted gold colored eyes, the pink cupid's bow lips and the moles splattered across his face in the shape of Orion's Belt. Stiles cuddled him and breathed out before laying down and curling up into a ball.
