Chapter 2 - Lim Y/N

"Noona!!!"

Y/N broke into a delightful smile when she heard the shout from the small Lee Rang who was now sprinting towards her with a flower in his hand. She immediately spread her arms wide as the little fox crashed into her warm embrace. Lee Rang kept rubbing his cheek on Y/N, his adorable giggling just made the woman want to squeak.

"How do you know I'm here?"

"Hehe, 'cause I'm a Gumiho. I can smell you from very farrrrrrr away."

Lee Rang explained with a cute exaggerated expression on his face. Y/N gently ruffled his hair while listening to his explanation. Lee Rang liked it the most when Y/N did that.

"This is for you, Noona."

The Gumiho shyly presented a pink colored flower which Y/N couldn't determine what kind of flower that was. She pretended to be shocked even though she had already seen that flower when Lee Rang rushed towards her. She gladly accepted the gift and stared at it with crescent moon eyes.

"Thank you, Rangie. As for returning, I will give you this."

Lee Rang's lips instantly lifted up into a big smile when he saw the amazingly strange snacks from Y/N. He had never tried nor seen all of these before, it had become a new experience for him whenever Y/N brought him new food. The fox was grabbing the snacks and made a joyful dance.

Y/N laughed a little bit seeing that scene. She just found out that the snacks and the soju which she brought from her original world could be restored on its own whenever she finished them. She was contented at the fact that she was still able to have her own soju party even in a different world.

Besides, Y/N also discovered that she had a family in this world. That time, she went to the village just around the mountain to explore the area and try her best to adapt to the old-aged world. But then, she bumped into a woman who was around 40+ mid age. The woman wasn't willing to let go of her and kept mumbling questions about Y/N's presence at this village. Y/N was puzzled at first, but everything started to be clear when a teenager beside the woman called her Noona. And, she even learned that the Lim Y/N from this world had already married to a rich man who was 20 years older than her. Obviously, her family was eager to accept the marriage because of the money the old man was willing to give. The two family members kept forcing Y/N to return to her husband because, deep down, they knew the old man would blame them and find many ways to torture them, not until Y/N returned to him.

"Y/N, I know you don't love him. But please don't be selfish, think about us, think about your brother!"

The mother grasped at her shirt with eyes filled with tears, begging.

"Yes, Nonna. Your husband is looking for you. Please come back. Or else he will kill us."

"And you still want me to go back?"

Y/N ignored their pleading. She felt disgusted by the family's selfishness. How could they be this cold-blooded and pay no care about their daughter's life? She knew they had the traditional mind in which sons were more important than daughters, but right now Y/N wanted to scream and ask them to leave.

"Noona? Noona, hello???"

Y/N sprung out of her thought when she felt the tug on her clothes. Looking downwards, it was Lee Rang who was now staring at herself in confusion. The woman shook her head to chase away the image.

"Yes, Rangie?"
"Noona, wanna play with Blackie? He misses you."
"Alright, let's go then."

The fox subconsciously grabbed her hands, leaping their way to Blackie.
