Chatting noises and scorching Sun that made her feel uncomfortable. She reopened her eyes just to find herself in the middle of the crowd. The people around her were wearing those traditional clothes. At that moment, she thought she had accidentally returned to the year of Joseon. Her doubts were cleared when she saw them taking pictures using phones. She must have arrived at some place where a festival was held.

Y/N took a stroll around the market. She was mouthwatering as the food smelled so nice that it even made her stomach growl.

"Y/N!"

She felt someone hugging her from behind but she couldn't see who that was. Struggling to turn her head, the man released her finally. Looking at his face with those dark circles that appeared under his eyes again, Y/N felt apologetic for Lee Rang.

"Where have you gone to!?"
"Sorry, Rangie. It took me some time, huh?"

Y/N scratched her cheek, while the fox stared at her with worry. As their action halted like that, her stomach growled loudly. She felt the deep awkwardness and wanted to hide herself away from Lee Rang. The man chuckled a bit, handed her a snack he had just bought from one of the stalls.

"Wanna go with me?"

Lee Rang pointed at the people who were wearing white uniforms. He had just got the location of the fortune-teller and was about to head there, and that was when he spotted Y/N from the corner of his eyes.

~

"Excuse me please."

The leader shouted and people quickly walked away from blocking the road. Lee Rang was having fun sitting up there no doubt, while the four people were walking difficultly as the road wasn't as smooth as they thought. Following behind, Y/N was sitting on another one, munching the rice cake Lee Rang bought for her.

Glancing around with a big smirk as he felt the superiority, Lee Rang tapped on the wood as he saw the flags outside of one house. The four people slowly put it down, enabling Lee Rang to get off of the seat. He stood there with his hand in his pocket, waiting patiently for Y/N. She jumped from the seat cheerfully, earning a small smile from the fox. Lee Rang wrapped his arm around her shoulder, then walked into the house.

"I'm fine, I will wait for you here."

Y/N finished her one last bite as she looked at Lee Rang.

"Alright, it won't take long."

He smiled dotingly.

"You can't get it for free."
"What do you want then?"

The man pondered for a while before making a smile.

"Give me something which is precious to you."

Lee Rang was panicked at first, but he got an idea.

"What if I have more than one?"
"I'm not that greedy. Just any of them."

Lee Rang smiled wickedly, he excused himself and was ready to set a trap for Lee Yeon.

"And one more thing."
