Aiko had taken me to the underground bunker in which she lived. I've never seen or even heard of someone loving in a bunker, let alone a well-decorated one. Her bunker had a welcoming feeling to it. It matched Aiko's personality well. I was sitting on the couch while looking around before I looked down at my hands.

"Is something wrong (name)?" Aiko had asked, coming in with two cups of tea. One for each of us.
"I'm just worried about if he finds us." I answered honestly because I have come to the realization that Aiko was good at detecting even the best lies.
"He won't (name). Stop worrying about it so much." Aiko says softly and for some reason, I find that hard to do. Stop worrying about my ex who may be killing innocent people with lives? That was kind of hard to do.
"I wish I could." I say honestly, hiding my face in my hands.
"I know you can (name). You just got to believe it yourself." Aiko said softly as she handed me a cup of tea. I looked at my reflection in the tea and sighed.
"I guess you're right but I find myself in a tight spot everytime I try." I admitted, feeling tears form in my eyes.
"I know, I know but you'll get through this. You've dealt with this longer than you realize. You're stronger than you think." Aiko smiled softly. I couldn't help but smile back while wiping my tears.
"Thank you." I say softly, taking a sip of the tea that I had in my hand.

Aiko's pov

(Name) has fallen asleep on the couch. That sleeping tea I gave her helped the already exhausted woman fall asleep faster so I took the chance to exit my bunker where I was met by the golden glare of Hawks, himself.

"How is she?" He asked. His voice was stern.
"She's sleeping right now so I took the chance to speak with you." I responded.
"Well? Did she tell you anything?" He questioned curiously.
"Hawks, it's only been two days. It's going to take a minute to gain her trust. All I know now is that she's terrified." I answered honestly while looking at him.
"Take me to her." He demanded.
"I don't think that's the best idea right now. Knowing what she's going through, she is not a deep sleeper." I say, reluctant to answer.
"Are you preventing me from seeing my wife? because if you are, the thin sheet of ice under you will break." He threatened.
My breath hitched, "No, no. Of course not."
"Then take me to her." He says, his tone calm and collected.
"Okay..." I say and walk back into my bunker with him following me. We eventually got to the livingroom and he immediately strided over to (name), kneeling in front of her, caressing her cheek. I could make out some of his words.

"Don't worry (name)...you'll soon be mine permanently and you'll regret ever leaving me." He says to her before he lightly pecked her lips and moved away before coming back to me. His gaze cold.
"Keep providing her with a false sense of security. I'll come for her once everything is ready." He whispered to me before exiting the bunker once more. I stood still.

"I'm so sorry (name)..." I say before leaving the living room to prepare lunch for when she wakes up. I felt bad but I was doing this for a reason.
