At some point, I finally hit my breaking point. He was getting out of hand and I still have no idea what's going in his mind. My friends had started noticing it. Same with my family. They were all telling me to leave him because of how out of hand he was getting.

I currently sat with my friend, Kameko, who had some serious knowledge of relationships becoming toxic. She's been in plenty of those relationships to know what was going on with him. Probably why I felt the urge to go to her for advice.

"(Name), you need to call of the engagement. I don't know what's going on with him. You're his fiancé and you don't even know. That'd be the safest option. He's keeping you from seeing friends and family. That's no longer a healthy relationship (name). You need to leave him." Kameko spoke as she held my hands in hers.
"But-" I was about to question her but she instantly glared at me, knowing what was going to come out of my mouth.
"No buts (name). You literally had to sneak away from him to come talk to me. He's gone toxic and it'll only get worse if you don't leave him as soon as you get the chance." Kameko said seriously.

She had a valid point. Keigo had been staying home a lot more lately and he won't let me leave the house so I had to sneak out while he was sleeping. I was unable to respond as a tear escaped my eye. Kameko was quick to wipe it away.

"I know it's difficult (name). I know more than anyone but people come and go. He's no exception. That's how many men are unfortunately. They are sweet and respectful at first but as time proceeds on, you start to see their true colors. Keigo's true colors are peeping through so you need to escape before they're vibrant." Kameko adviced. I listened carefully and nodded my head in response. Once again, she had a point. I knew that so I began to cry. She immediately pulled me into an embrace.

"Like I said, I know more than anything how difficult it is but you need to trust me...if you need to, come stay with me once you've called it off. Just don't tell him where you are." Kameko explained.
"Thank you, Kameko-chan." I say through my tears while I hug her back.
"Of course (name)." Kameko says softly, "Now go do it before it's too late."
"I will. Thank you again."

I arrived at mine and Keigo's shared apartment just minutes after leaving Kameko. Upon arrival, my shoulders were immediately grasped by the masculine hands of Keigo who looked as if her had just woken up. His hair was a mess and his eyes held worry and disappointment.

"Where were you?" He asked in a husky tone. He had, indeed, just woken up just based off his voice.
"I was at the park with Kameko-chan...Keigo, we need to talk." I begin. I've been dreading this moment but I had to go through with it especially if his behavior was only going to worsen.
"About what?" The suspicious tone in his voice was clearly obvious but it didn't phase me.
"Let's go sit down in the living room..." my voice held nothing but sorrow. I walked to the living room with him following me. We both sat down seconds later and I was trying to form an outline of what I was going to say to him. Once I had it laid out, I began speaking.

"Keigo...I can't do this anymore. You're getting way too controlling and obsessive. I don't know why but it's scaring me to the point I need to leave..." I began, taking off the engagement ring. I heard a gasp come from him but continued speaking, "You never tell me what's wrong...you never tell me what's going through your head which is part of a relationship. Our communication is very seldom other than you begging me to not leave and...and I can't...I can't do it anymore. I'm calling off this engagement. I love you Keigo, I really do but what's happening between us is not healthy....this is a toxic relationship that I need to leave...I'm sorry." I say, my eyes filling with tears and my voice cracking as I opened his hand and placed the engagement ring in it. He seemed frozen so I took the time to walk to the bedroom and pack my stuff. I closed the door and locked it behind me so he didn't try to stop me as I grabbed a suitcase and then my clothes, folding them and placing them into the suitcase with tear streaming from my eyes.

I then heard the door knob jiggle. He was trying to get in so I hurried the process of folding and packing.

"(Name)...please let's talk about this...please!" His tone was pleading but I ignored with while packing my stuff hurriedly.
"(Name)...please open this door..."
This time his voice was laced with venom. I finally decided I had enough stuff and opened door, leaving quickly pushing past Keigo who effortlessly pinned me against a wall, his full weight pinning her.

"Please don't leave me! I can't live without you!" He exclaimed before kissing me violently as his hands began moving down my body.
"Yes. You. Can." My words were separated. They were also laced with a venomous tone. That seemed to catch him off guard. He fell to his knees while gripping my hand tightly.
"No, no...(name)...don't leave me please!" He cried, tears coming from his eyes.
"I'm sorry Keigo but this is for the good of both of us." I had said, moving away from him, grabbing my suitcase and hurried to the exit but his feathers blocked the entrance.

"I'm not letting you leave me so easily..." I hear him from behind. His tone is ominous which scares me to the point I just leave my suitcase and phone and run to the escape exit. Luckily for me it was close. I hurriedly opened it and ran down the escape exit. I heard Keigo call my name but I continue running in fear. I knew he wouldn't search for me or act insane in a crowd so I squeezed into a crowd of people, making sure to keep my head down so he wouldn't easily recognize me.

I escaped. I was relieved but also rather saddened as I headed in the direction of Kameko's house. Keigo did not like the fact I escaped but since he was a hero, he was held back from making any further moves to catch me without looking insane.

However, despite the fact I escaped, he'd he looking for me either way whether it'd be when he was on patrol or just doing everyday tasks so I needed to change my appearance so I wasn't recognized. Kameko could help with that hopefully.

At that point, this wasn't the end of Keigo and his behaviors...
