Red Diamond

"Hello, Yellow." Red Diamond said.

"Red!" Yellow exclaimed.

"I'm sure that you've got a lot of questions, but first off, let me say this...."

Even through the hologram, you could feel the murderous intent of the diamond.

"If any of the diamonds ever, ever, hurt my sweet little Tamara.... I will ruin your lives so bad, you'll wish you were shattered permanently." Red Diamond said, glaring.

She smiled, Yellow muttering something about how it's definitely her.

"Now onto bismuth," She joked, Tamara chuckling in response. "As you might have guessed by now, Bloody Rose and Red Diamond are the same gem. I'd bet my dark red lips that Yellow figured it out first, Blue and White have always been too slow with mysterious stuff.... Anyhow, I left this recording inside my gem for when the inevitable truth came out.

First off, it was really hard to fake my shattering. Yellow's the only one who could've actually figured it out, but she'd be too consumed by rage and fear. Sorry not sorry. I.... I do apologize for any grief I may have caused, Blue.

Second, Tamara should end up with all my powers and abilities. With my gem, she'll have the strength necessary for a diamond....

Third, I'd like to personally request that you teach Tamara how to control her rage. We all know that I can have a temper, so it would be in my best Interest that you-"

The hologram turned to the side, a distant look in her eye. She sighed, moving her cape aside to reveal a swollen stomach.

".... I have a last favor to ask of you, Yellow.... I'd like for you to be Tamara's godmother. It's a silly human term, but it's a final request. Tamara, if you're seeing this.... I love you."

The feed cut off, all the diamonds staring in shock.

".... I'm half diamond." Tamara said.

"Don't cry, Yellow." Blue told the Yellow gem.

Yellow wiped away tears, saying "I'm not crying! I've just.... I've got something in my eyes!"

White stared at Tamara, before finally saying "We adults must discuss this new revelation.... Leave the room, Red."

Tamara nodded, leaving the room. She pulled out a red diamond shaped object, turning it a few times.

It lit up, Steven's voice cutting through as he said "Hey, Tamara! Nice to hear from you, but I'm currently a little busy at the moment!"

"Really? How come?" She asked.

Peridot got scared in the background, Amethyst getting flung away from Jasper.

".... Never mind. Good luck with Jasper." She said, quickly hanging up.

How did the Crystal Gems always seem to get into trouble?

Yellow Diamond walked over to her, saying "Tamara, we've come to a decision...."

Tamara let out a sigh of relief, enjoying the heat of the lava.

"I know that you're lava proof, but must you really rub it in?" Yellow asked.

Yellow, Blue, and Tamara had come to an agreement. Tamara would ignore the responsibilities of being a diamond until she was ready for it, and until then was allowed to browse Homeworld with all the perks of being a diamond. This included the hot springs and lava pools.

"Can I ask, what was Red like?" Tamara asked.

Blue thought for a moment before responding "Well, Red always had a fiery temper. Her and Yellow would spar often just to see who was better."

Yellow groaned, saying "I think we actually have a few recordings of our brawls."

Yellow Pearl pulled out a projector, broadcasting a video recording of a fight. A camera started up, the sight of the two diamonds stretching.

"Alright.... Are you ready, Red?" Yellow said, sparks traveling up to her hair.

"Of course I'm ready!" She responded confidently.

The two diamonds charged at each other, Red Diamond dodging to the side with a roll. Her hair glowed, as she rolled into a spiky on fire ball. Yellow gave a shocked expression before she was rammed into a wall.

"I win, once again!" Red Diamond said, doing a small bow.

"You got lucky!" Yellow retorted.

Tamara then said "Could I do that?"

"Do what?" Blue asked.

"Roll into a fiery ball."

Both diamonds paused. Could she?

Tamara got put of her lava pool, saying "Give me a second."

She stretched, before crouching down, getting into a rolling position. She jumped up, diving towards the ground. Three things happened.

Tamara got a phone call.

A Holly Blue walked in.

And Tamara rolled into a ball.

Tamara rolled up, Holly Blue pulling out her whip to catch the half diamond, saying "Who are you?! What are you doing here?!"

Blue Diamond chuckled, saying "Be calm, Holly. This is Tamara, the one who will be taking over Red Diamond's court in the future."

The agate gem looked flustered, doing a diamond symbol with her arms.

"Apologies my diamond, I was not aware of your status!" She apologized.

"Don't worry about it! Besides, you came here to say something to Blue, right? I'll leave you guys to talk things out!"

*Timeskip*

It's been.... A month? Two months? Naw, it's been a month.

"Alright, one-thousandth times a charm!" Tamara said, standing on a warp pad.

She warped, appearing in the Crystal Gems temple, seeing Amethyst waiting for something.

"Amethyst, what's going on?" She asked.

"Oh boy.... So.... We just found out that Rose was Pink Diamond.... How about you?"

"Huh..... I just found out a month ago that my mom Bloody Rose was Red Diamond." Tamara said.

"Huh. Small world." Amethyst said.

Tamara hummed a reply, seeing Sapphire, Steven, and Pearl run over to them.

Something told her that this was going to be a long day.
