"Bloody Rose? Who's that?" Steven asked.

Pearl, Garnet, and Amethyst all got together, figuring out exactly who the red rose quartz belonged to.

"Well Steven.... Oh dear, Garnet?" Pearl said, getting her attention.

Garnet nodded, beginning the story.

.

Long ago, during the first 10 years of the gem war, the two opposing forces were attacked.

This new enemy: a red rose quartz.

The gems that were around her were known as ruthless, to the point where the rebellion and the diamonds were forced to work together. They came to an agreement of the new title of the rogue gem.... Bloody Rose.

A rose quartz fueled by anger and rage, uncaring for anyone and anything. Before the diamonds launched their final attack against the planet, she was shattered.... Allegedly.

.

"Woah.... So, just like how I have my moms gem, Tamara has Bloody Rose gem?" Steven asked.

Pearl nodded, saying "It appears that way. I only wonder how she managed to escape our radar for so long...."

"It doesn't matter." Garnet suddenly said. "Right now, we need to find her base of operations and stop her before she can do anymore damage. Finding Jasper will have to put on hold." Garnet ordered.

*Where Tamara is*

"Lady Tamara, I'm heading out." Netty said.

"Alright, I'm headed out with Jasper!" Tamara said, pulling Jasper along with her.

"Tamara, I don't see how you could be so calm and responsible-" Jasper started to say.

"Hush, I need to make a call!" Tamara said excitedly.

She pulled out a device, pushing a few buttons on it before it glowed yellow, then white, then blue, three diamond shaped holograms popping up.

"Pearl, who is using the direct line for the-"

Yellow Diamond paused, seeing who it was.

"Tamara! You've finally called back!" Yellow Diamond said with a smile.

"I must agree with her Firefly, you've had us worried." White said, her ever so bright figure casting through the hologram.

"Tamara! I do hope you are eating well, it would be so unfortunate if you weren't!" Blue Diamond said.

"I'm fine everyone! Oh yeah, Auntie White, I haven't been able to view the progress on the Cluster yet...." Tamara said with a frown.

"That's quite alright, your life is far more important." She said.

"Anyways, haven't really found anything of much value yet, but I'll contact you next week, okay?" Tamara said, putting her arms in a diamond symbol.

"Good luck Firefly, and remember that we are only a call away!" White said, the call ending shortly after.

Jasper came out of her hiding place, asking "Why didn't you tell them about the rebels?!"

"Jasper, Jasper, Jasper, where do I begin?" Tamara said dramatically. "The diamonds already have enough on their plate, no need to add this onto their plate. Besides, I want to study them a bit more before calling them for help, seeing as how Auntie Yellow will send an entire army on my behalf." She told the beefy looking gem.

"I see.... So, what is our current objective?" She questioned.

"Well, first off, I need to go pay a visit to the Crystal Gems. Jasper, you stay here for a while and guard the ship. I'll return in another hour." She said, proceeding to go to the Crystal Gems temple.

As she walked down the beach, she couldn't help but wonder about her dream. She knew that she was the child of Bloody Rose, but..... Come to think of it, the diamonds never exactly talked about her.... They wouldn't hide anything, right?

She eventually heard the familiar sounds of the gems warp pad, walking into the temple as quietly as possible.

"I'm serious, we really should go and find her!" Steven said to the gems.

"Steven, we currently don't have the means to go after her.... And she's clearly advanced in the art of combat, so a fight would be foolish unless we were all there." Pearl told him.

"Everything will be fine Steven. Just like you, she might have the gem, but she's still not as experienced in combat as we are. We'll meet her again eventually." Garnet said, patting his head.

She sighed internally, knowing that the Sapphire side of her could already foresee what was next.

"For the Crystal Gems, you guys really don't look up that much, do you?" She said, all of them looking up, seeing her on Steven's bed.

Everything was silent for a moment, before Amethyst whip wrapped around her torso, pulling her down.

"How did you get in here?!" Pearl demanded.

"Wait!" Steven shouted, helping her up. "She's a half gem, like me! The least you guys could do it get along with her!" He said, a pleading look on his face.

"Look, I know that I caused some trouble for you guys in the past, but do you honestly blame me?" She said innocently.

".... I must agree with Pearl on this. You attacked us, so why should we believe you?" Garnet said.

"Okay.... If I wan wanted to, the diamonds would be on the way to Earth right now." She said, Steven smiling.

"See! She's a good guy!" He said optimistically.

The others remained silent, Steven giving them the puppy eyes.

"Fine. On one condition, she has to tell us everything that she knows about Bloody Rose." Garnet said, Amethyst and Pearl nodding in agreement.

Tamara considered all her information.... And for once, she had no idea where to start.

"Huh.... I actually don't know that much about her." She admitted, realizing her own lack of info.

.

It was the end of the day by now, and the moment Tamara arrived home, she went towards her room, quickly locking herself in there.

Red Pearl came over to her door, saying "My Tamara, are you.... Are you alright?"

She heard the door unlock, Tamara peeking through.

"Pearl.... What was Bloody Rose like?" She asked, hoping for an answer.

"Oh.... She was lovely. She had such a temper when it came to certain subjects, but she always pulled through in the end. Why do you ask?" RP questioned.

".... No reason." Tamara responded, closing her door back up.
