Ty's P.O.V.

I leaned against the counter exhausted from the lunch rush but I made really good money. I threw my head back with a smile on my face. I know I should get a real job but making money like today makes me not want to. Unless I marry rich. With that thought I sucked my teeth and pushed myself off the counter.

"How'd you do today?" I looked over to see the Puerto Rican who never got the hint. "Roughly 300 for lunch. How about you Rio?" I asked as I didn't really look at him. I began to take off my apron while I heard him counting. "223 but I'm pleased with it." Rio gave me a warm smile as he put his hands in his apron. Looking at his cute well built body almost made me feel bad.

Like I tried to be indirect about ending shit. It was a quick thing one night. I usually never had to tell someone it was a hookup. I just ghosted them and from there I live my merry life. I guess that's what I get for shitting where I eat. "Hello...Ty?" Rio called out to me. Shit I guessed I zoned out.

"Sorry, what were you saying?" I asked Rio as I got my shit and punched out. "I wanted to ask what you were doing later." Rio asked as he was getting ready to leave as well. I looked down to my phone to see I had a couple missed texts and calls from Blake. Shit I didn't realize from all the work. "I'm actually meeting with an old friend. Sorry." I quickly told Rio without giving him time to respond.

<Hey Im hanging around a bit at the show for the after party.> With that he sent the location where he's at. It seems it's at the museum on 23rd and Park. <I know you are busy and don't wanna distract you. So let me know where to meet or you can come to the after party and we can go from there> I like that I don't feel rushed. I started making my way towards the uptown line until I stopped when I caught a glimpse of myself.

I looked good but I looked really casual since I just came out of work. I continued to look at my reflection as I brought my hand up to my hair. Let me ask Blake if there is a dress code. <Hey Blake, is there a dress code...> Not even a second later I got a reply from him. Damn was he waiting for my text. I couldn't help but smile at the thought. <Not really most of the people are wearing their day clothes after the show.> Alright if he says so then fuck it.

It wasn't a long time till I arrived at the front of the museum. There were still photographers waiting around the area trying to get a glimpse of anyone they could. They saw me walking in front of the building but they ignored me. "Excuse me, this museum is closed for a private event." I quickly spun around to see a huge guard blocking the door. "Sorry I was invited here. I'm just unsure where to go."

The guard looked me up and down. "Sure you are. Why don't you hang out here with everyone else that got "invited"." He grabbed my shoulder and spun me around. I hated being touched like this. "No you don't understand I was invited by Blake Sexton!" I tried to push back but my strength was nothing compared to his. "Sure like your part of such a prestigious fashion house." I don't know how else to prove it. I just went across the street not trying to argue with the guy. I stood across the street looking up at the museum.

Huge banners of models of their respected house plastered the walls. I called Blake about the issue down stairs. He seemed like he kinda expected it. Before I could tell him that I would wait outside he hung up the phone. I leaned on the wall watching the front door. I saw a couple of people walk in and out of the building.. They all had such a shining aura.

Am I really okay coming to a place like this? Like these people are a whole other world then my own. I noticed a woman with jet black hair talking with the guard. She had a piercing look while talking to the guard. Seems like they are having a talk. Not a moment later the guard turned my way and started to wave me over. Ummm did Blake send someone?
