Tyler's P.O.V.
Blake and I gave each other one more. I nodded towards the door before I began walking. Right on my heels was Blake. "Since I have to head out, we might as well see who is at the door." I extended my hand to Blake. We walked hand in hand. Has his hands always been this warm? Blake opened the front door to let me out and to know who had been knocking. "Oh Tyler you're still here?" Yinu asked as she walked in holding some stuff.
"You knock like the police, you know that." Blake told her, crossing his arms as he leaned on the wall. Yinu just ignored him before turning back to me. "Honestly I have to thank you cause if not he would have never opened the door." Yinu poked Blake in the chest before heading into the kitchen. Blake leaned his head to the side before opening his arms to me.
I walked into his arms as he wrapped them around me. His body was just as warm as he laid his head on top of mine. "Just wanted another good hold of you before you leave for the day." Blake whispered to me as his hold tightened. My face was now being buried into his chest. When Blake finally let me go I gave him a quick kiss on the cheek. The smile that grew on his face just did things to me. "Get going, I don't want you to be late. Plus the longer you stay the more I wanna keep you here." Blake told me as he cupped my face.
I just nodded as I headed out. When I got to the elevator I looked back to see that Blake was still at the door watching me. As I entered and the door was closing I could see him waving goodbye to me. I should probably text Derrick back since I'm alone. I opened my phone to see I also got a text from Jiro. Out of curiosity I decided to open it. <How was the night inside the lion's den?> I couldn't help but laugh.
Thinking of Blake as a lion is so weird to me. To me Blake is soft, warm, and kindhearted. A bit of a flirt though. <Honestly not that bad. It was definitely a night. How about you?> As I finished texting Jiro, I went to Derricks text. <I hope Blake didn't bother you too much since I left. If he did, let me know I'll take care of him for you. More importantly let me know about tonight by the way.> I just smiled at the text. I decided to call him instead though to see if he would answer.
Not even a second ring even happened before the call was picked up. "Hello! Ahem Hey Tyler what's up?" Derrick tried playing off his excitement. I rolled my eyes with a smirk. "Hey Derrick, do you have time to talk or are you busy?" I asked as I walked out of Blake's building and back into the loud city streets. "For you, I'm always free. What is it my love?" Derrick asked as I weaved my way through the people on the streets.
"I'm trying to get home as quickly as possible since I just left Blake's and wanted to know what time you are free." I told him as I looked around to see where I was exactly. Seems I'm not far from the Green Line. That would be the fastest home. "Ohh you just left Blake's." Derrick paused for a moment before speaking up again. "Well I'll be in the office for a bit longer cleaning up some paperwork. Actually if you give me the time you want to meet I'll make it happen." I heard some papers fall in the background and Derrick cursing.
I laughed at how Derrick was being when I felt my phone vibrate against my face. I quickly checked to see it was Jiro again texting. "Well it's still midday and I have to get changed. How about you meet me later at Bryant Park around 5ish. Do some light shopping then go to dinner." I suggested before making my way underground to catch the train. "Perfect, I'll meet you there then! Love yo...I mean take care." Derrick quickly hung up before I could respond. I felt my cheeks heat up. I looked at the glass to see I had a small blush. "That idiot," I muttered under my breath before I shook my head.
I quickly finished my commute home and changed quickly. As I was walking out my phone went off. I checked to see if it was Derrick but it was just a stupid text about my data service might experience random outing. I just brushed it off and remembered that Jiro texted me earlier. I went to see what he wanted to say. <So you lived a night without being swallowed up by him. Well since you live to see another day how about we meet up for a bit today?> I just shot him back that I have plans in a couple of hours so if you're in the area sure. If not then no.
